| Answer: | According the the Franklin Sports website description, the poles are poly for both the Starter Set and the Family Set. The descriptions of the contents are identical, so I cannot figure out what the difference is between the two, except for color. I don't know enough about the nets to say if there is actually a quality difference between them, as another person suggested. |
