The official ball has a little more "spring" to it and a better constructed bladder. The replica has a harder bladder and the manufacturer has tried to make the ball softer by adding some foam cushioning under the skin of the ball. Doesn't work for anyone who has logged in several hours with the official ball. If you switched an official ball with a replica ball players would notice right away. Especially when it came to passing. You have much less control in my opinion. If you're purchasing a volleyball with the intention of playing regularly and improving get the official ball. |
