Answer:	The picture shows metal snaps, but we just bought one and the are plastic. My 10 year old son cannot snap them onto the helmet. I had to switch them out with the metal ones that came with the cheap strap on the team helmet. He has no problems snapping those. I highly recommend not buying unless you have metal clips and swap them. Your coaches will not like having to snap them 10 times during practice.
