Answer:	I don't know for sure, but I have BBQ'd turkey thighs before after using this brining mixture. I used 1 cup of the brining mixture with 1 gallon of water. However I think the turkey thigh was about 2 -3 lbs.

Can you be perpendicular to target or does it require you to be in line with it

Answer:

"The definition of perpendicular: 1. at an angle of 90° to a given line, plane, or surface. The radar gun will not report the true speed of the object you are trying to read from a perpendicular angle, and may not read at all. If it reads there will be a huge cosine angle which will make the radar gun show a much slower speed. Cosine Error explained: The most common mistake made with all radars is trying to clock targets at angles. All radars should clock objects moving directly towards or away from the radar. Clocking at an angle with a stationary radar will result in angle error, and the radar will display a speed that is LOWER than the actual speed. In order to get accurate readings, the radar must be placed in the line of travel of the target. At slight angles, the error will be very small, however at larger angles, the error will be substantial. If you know the angle, you can calculate the actual speed by taking the radar reading and dividing by the cosine of the angle. For example a true speed of 55mph will display 39mph at a 45° angle. To calculate: if your angle is 45° degrees and the radar reads 39 mph. Take 39 mph and divide by the cosine of 45° (0.707) to get a true speed of 55 mph. Answer:	That's a great question and the answer is: The radar is meant to gauge the speed of an object coming towards it so whether the object is launched from 20 feet or 200 feet it is only engaging/tracking the object at the last several feet to gauge the object's speed before impact. So if you're a goalie in lacrosse or a batter in baseball, the speed at the net or home plate is what matters and not the speed from which the object originates from. That is what this radar was designed to do. Hope that helps.
