Answer:	No clue, my team has only used this product. The swingaway mvp looks like it would take longer to set up and also looks like more problems could occur with it.

Answer:	Yes just buy the softball version and you are good to go. I use this with my 8u team and they love it.

Answer:	You bet. One season with both high school varsity softball and baseball teams hitting this trainer, and it's still going. Colder than average spring had us inside two or more days every week plus Sunday batting cage sessions. If you're outside with it, it can be staked down. Inside had us putting two boxes of the office's copy paper in it to hold it down. It'll require a hand tightening at the beginning of every session (no time or effort really required with the nylon hand grip bolt heads) and it's good for your son and 8 of his buddies.

Answer:	It is ready after assembly. If you do not have a decent wooden bat, you need one. The trainer will eventually ruin a metal bat. This trainer is GREAT. My son uses it all the time.

Answer:	About 30 to 40 mph from a distance of 25 to 30 feet. The balls that come with it, or are recommended for it, are junk, however it works great if you buy JUGGS plastic balls. I've had one in my basement for several years hitting JUGGS balls with wood bats and love it. The balls break occasionally after a long period of time but can really take a beating. I set-up the machine on stacked crates so that the machine is at shoulder height thus replicating a very inexpensive indoor pitching machine. If you buy good balls they will be delivered consistently in the strike zone. The best money I've spent for practicing baseball in the winter.
Question:	I need something like this for my dog, I say need because my shoulder/arm can't take much more. Will this work or any other suggestions

Answer:	We do use real softballs. The wheels need cleaned each year after. You would have to move it closer to get it to 60 on all pitches.

Answer:	it depends on the condition of the ball. With newer softballs it is very accurate and easy to dial in a pitch like a curve ball that breaks left 8 inches at 16 inches above the plate on the outside corner. I bought 5 doz juggs balls and those 60 all pitch the same
