Answer:	The machine needs to be secured to the ground. After every pitch the machine will jerk/move if not secured properly. The slightest movement shifts the pitches. Sandbags or weights would be an alternative to the stakes.

Answer:	We do use real softballs. The wheels need cleaned each year after. You would have to move it closer to get it to 60 on all pitches.

Answer:	it depends on the condition of the ball. With newer softballs it is very accurate and easy to dial in a pitch like a curve ball that breaks left 8 inches at 16 inches above the plate on the outside corner. I bought 5 doz juggs balls and those 60 all pitch the same

Answer:	About 30 to 40 mph from a distance of 25 to 30 feet. The balls that come with it, or are recommended for it, are junk, however it works great if you buy JUGGS plastic balls. I've had one in my basement for several years hitting JUGGS balls with wood bats and love it. The balls break occasionally after a long period of time but can really take a beating. I set-up the machine on stacked crates so that the machine is at shoulder height thus replicating a very inexpensive indoor pitching machine. If you buy good balls they will be delivered consistently in the strike zone. The best money I've spent for practicing baseball in the winter.
Question:	I need something like this for my dog, I say need because my shoulder/arm can't take much more. Will this work or any other suggestions

Answer:	No clue, my team has only used this product. The swingaway mvp looks like it would take longer to set up and also looks like more problems could occur with it.

Answer:	You bet. One season with both high school varsity softball and baseball teams hitting this trainer, and it's still going. Colder than average spring had us inside two or more days every week plus Sunday batting cage sessions. If you're outside with it, it can be staked down. Inside had us putting two boxes of the office's copy paper in it to hold it down. It'll require a hand tightening at the beginning of every session (no time or effort really required with the nylon hand grip bolt heads) and it's good for your son and 8 of his buddies.

Answer:	It is ready after assembly. If you do not have a decent wooden bat, you need one. The trainer will eventually ruin a metal bat. This trainer is GREAT. My son uses it all the time.

Question:	What softball would I purchase to get 55mph for 14u softball? We have a machine but they balls seem pretty slow. Do they get slower with age
Answer:	Use the Jugs dimple balls made specially for the machine. The balls will not work as well in the machines as they get worn out. The balls get smoother which gives the wheel nothing to grab

Answer:	If you are trying to teach fielding (correct)? Using a glove no, they are to light in weight so the fielder can feel them. If catching fly balls as long as it is not too windy. If you want my opinion on options I would need to know more but general, fielding ground balls, real softball, slow down the ball, work on form, gradually build up speed, form, player builds confidence. FORM MORE IMPORTANT, Fly Balls, Smaller area, crop hip right toss, Drop Hip Left Toss Ball, Most Difficult Player turns glove side toss ball over their head catch. As they improve throw ball further. than do not tell them where throwing ball. they get that, than hit ball with bat and see what you have. KEEP Repeating from beginning till they give up or you give up. LOL

Question:	I'm not a sports person but my girlfriend brother plays college baseball, would this be ok as small fun Christmas gift? or will he break the thing
Answer:	If not used properly, the cable can become jammed at the end where height adjustment of the ball is made. That's what happened to the portable trainer I have when used by my son's 13/14yr old teammates. A college hitter shouldn't have that problem. As long as contact with the ball is proper and consistent, he can get hundreds of repetitions. I also recommend not leaving it outside where the weather can cause the ball to deteriorate. Fun gift though.
Question:	Does this work with the SKLZ Hit-A-Aw baseball swing trainer pole
Answer:	The u bolt that attaches the upper cable of the baseball has a captive nut inside the pole. It cannot be removed unless you cut the cable. This will not work in the baseball trainer without significant modification.
Question:	Is this item come with pole? Or what is exactly deliver for this item
Answer:	This item is only what you see in the picture. It does not come with the pole. It is designed to be attached to an established pole, tree or the SKLZ swing trainer.
Question:	my basketball goal pole is too big... about 5in square. Any Idea on how to install it
Answer:	I used a pole from a chain link fence and just drove that into the ground. they are pretty cheap at Lowes or Home Depot
