Answer:	No. This mouthgard is for the top teeth only. I suppose you could wear it facing down, but it is designed for one row of teeth (with space for braces). My teenage son used this for boxing, wrestling and Jiu Jitsu with no teeth, tongue or lip injury. Make sure you buy the correct size, there is an adult and youth version. The youth version was too small for him when he was 13.

Answer:	Depends on how big they are for their size. These fit my son very well. He was 11, and has a biggish head. If they're average or small for their age, I don't think it would fit.

Answer:	Hi,Thanks for checking out an item we offer within our Amazon store. We have been selling these for about 15 years in our retail stores as well as online and the 10 and under guideline is a good guideline. It is just a guideline though. We have had 12 year olds who have a smaller head and mouth prefer the youth and 7/8 year old who have bigger than average heads/mouths that need the adult. After they are custom fit per the instructions you will also get a much better fit, and if you need to get an adult size you can trim that size down in the length too. There are mouth guards made to wear with braces that have a softer material near the teeth which is much better to use if you have braces.
