You are correct that most of their mouth guards are in 2 sizes, youth which is usually 10/11 and under, and adult which is approximately 11 and up. Answer:	I don't really understand your question. Are you asking "How long does the guard last?". If so, then it depends on the user. For me, my son has used it since February 1, 2016 and it is still usable. And I say that because he for some strange reason he chews it, but I am satisfied that that the guard is still capable of protecting his teeth for quite some time.

We have been selling these for about 15 years in our retail stores as well as online and the 10 and under guideline is a good guideline. It is just a guideline though. We have had 12 year olds who have a smaller head and mouth prefer the youth and 7/8 year old who have bigger than average heads/mouths that need the adult. After they are custom fit per the instructions you will also get a much better fit, and if you need to get an adult size you can trim that size down in the length too.
