We have had 12 year olds who have a smaller head and mouth prefer the youth and 7/8 year old who have bigger than average heads/mouths that need the adult. After they are custom fit per the instructions you will also get a much better fit, and if you need to get an adult size you can trim that size down in the length too. Having a lower mouthpiece will make it much easier for you to breath and speak with it in and because it won't cover your palate, it would be much more comfortable as well. Answer:	The Power-Fit is a unique combination of the Power-Fit mouthguard with its patented fins and custom-made shell together with the patented Power-Cage. The cage consists of an outer and inner tray, which fit one inside the other, and it is into this tray system that the mouthguard is placed. As the wearer bites down onto the mouthguard, the Power-Cage compresses it onto the teeth resulting in a perfectly moulded mouthguard that fits snugly around the teeth and soft tissue providing the ultimate fit and retention.
Question:	Is this mouthguard suitable for protection from bruxism, aka teeth grinding? Most guards on the market don't have the technology for nite fit here
Answer:	We do not recommend that you use the Power-Fit for for bruxism. A mouthguard can be worn as protective equipment for any sport or activity, however if you are concerned about grinding then you may be better off with a nightguard. Nightguards are manufactured to protect the teeth from bruxism (grinding), and are a single layer of clear polymer. If you were interested in a customfit mouthguard, these are made up of more than one layer so could eventually begin to delaminate if too much pressure is applied and the teeth pierce the layers. Answer:	It fits much better if you do boil & bite. It's a great mouth guard. Nice protection.

Answer:	Please forgive me for the late response. Unfortunately, the mouth guard didn't come with a case.
Question:	Is it good of rugby
Answer:	I have played rugby for 12 years - this is the ONLY mouthguard I like to use. I've used this exact style for 10 years. It molds well - has enough padding for absorbing contact - and most importantly I can breathe and talk while wearing it. I forget I have it in. When they stopped selling them in local sports stores and only sold bulkier Shock Doctor mouthguards, I bought 5 of these on Amazon. Can't recommend this mouthguard strongly enough...
Question:	does it come with a top and bottom, or do you have to buy it separately
Answer:	The mouthguard only comes with one piece. This is a "single" mouthguard. If you need one protects both top and bottom teeth, choose a "double" mouthguard.

Answer:	When we craft guards for Muay Thai, boxing and MMA, we use more material to give added protection. We start off with 6-7mm of material, and for our other guards we start off with about 4mm of material. When taking hits to the face-athletes need the added protection.
Question:	Does this have a strap
Answer:	Hi Ian! International shipping to Taiwan is $38.50 for two shipments. We will ship the kit to you and we will ship the crafted guard. You would have to provide postage for the impression to be returned to us since USPS does not provide that service.
Question:	Is it BPA-free
Answer:	That’s a great question! Our Fit Kit includes three different size trays so that everyone can find the right size for themselves. This is exactly why our custom guards make such a difference! We will craft one to fit your mouth exactly! We can make any style you like in your size.
