About Everlast

The name Everlast is synonymous with boxing. Renown internationally as a manufacturer of boxing equipment, Everlast started out as a swimwear manufacturer in 1910. Headquartered in the Bronx, NY, the company was founded by 17-year-old Jacob Golomb. Answer:	I like the 12 oz. My girlfriend prefers the 14 oz. I think it's very personal depending on your level of experience. 8 oz is much to light if you are in decent condition.

Answer:	Smooth on the bar, especially compared to leather grips that feel tacky. I only use these as wrist wraps now and for olympic lifts. I have been a long time fan of leather grips and never rip on high reps of pu, c2b or mu's with leathers. First day I got these I wore one leather and one wodie, chalked up and broke them in and ripped on the 3oth pullup.

Answer:	I would not recommend JerkFit Grips at all. Go with Bear Komplex Grips and you will be satisfied. Not sure how any grips will do with rope climbing since the rope will likely cause a twisting motion on the grips. For rope climbs you may want to go with gloves.
Question:	There are three separate size charts on this item (one in the pics above, two in the description) which are slightly different. Which is correct
Answer:	I used the measurements from the picture above, not the picture in the description, and it was spot on. It looks like the written size in the description matches the picture above.

Answer:	I would not wash them because the grip it's self is leather. Unlike some of those fake leather products, JerFit is real leather. They form fit to your hand and washing may change that form.

Question:	can these be machine washed
Answer:	They can be machine washed. Let them air dry.
Question:	How are you supposed to measure your hands for these? The diagram makes no sense. From the bottom of the palm to the top of the middle finger
Answer:	So I just measured the ones I got, large size, and from the top of the glove to the wrist it measures 5". My hand measures just under 8 inches from top of middle finger to wrist. For me, these gloves fit great! They do provide a size chart and it says large is anywhere from 4.5-5" and it seems to be pretty accurate- I think that had my hands been a bit smaller I think it would still fit just fine. I did not measure my hands before buying but if you do measure from top of wrist (where it bends) to joint in the middle of your finger (as shown in the picture).
Question:	Do you find these are too bulky for kettle bell swings? They look bulky but I know pictures are deceiving

Question:	How padded are these gloves? i have mava, and they're too thick. i have tiny hands, can't stay on the bar for pullups. looking for minimal padding
Answer:	I also have tiny hands and I think the padding is perfect thickness for comfort and usability. I will say that when I am doing dead lifts, rack pulls and similar exercises I do sometimes need to use a little chalk for extra grip if it’s over 140lb resistance. The grip on these are really good but I need a little extra sometimes. Over all I really like these gloves. I use these 4 days a weeks and have had them for 4 Months and can’t really tell, the quality is excellent.

Question:	Are these effective when using the pull-up bar?? Or do they slip
Answer:	I feel like the bad guy here, but mine slipped off when I was using the pull up bar, and on the particular workout we used the bar from the floor. I had the right size, but they still slipped around. I don't know if perhaps it's because I was sweating a lot, but I had difficulties and had to return them.

Answer:	They definitely bunch across the top of your hand, right below the fingers at the callous line. They are a great alternative to gloves for weightlifting but , in my opinion, would not be suitable for parkour. If they slip bunch and slip on a pull up bar when kipping, which they do, I would not think they would be good for parkour. Unless you want to stop and pull them back up frequently.
Question:	What size should I get? I am a woman with a medium sized hand
Answer:	You need to measure your hand from the width of your palm to find the best fit. 2-2.5 inches across you would order an XS, 2.5-3 inches a small, 3-3.5 inches a medium and so on. I have small hands, measured 3 inches wide, and ordered a medium since many reviewers said to size up. They fit but do have a little gap in the palm. It's really not an issue though as far as grip goes.

If you are like me and do a lot of exercises such as deadlifts, lawnmowers, or any exercise that has you pulling large weights from the floor, these are for you. I cannot tell you how many times I couldn't finish a set with the number of reps I KNEW I was capable of because my gym has older weights with harsh grips that just eat the skin of your hands up.
