Answer:	Apologies for the late reply but hopefully this helps you and future prospective buyers. I am 5'6 165 lbs. , in standard shin guards I wear a small/medium. I originally bought these because I liked the slip on idea rather than wrap around secured by velcro; figured a thin second skin of sorts would be more comfortable for sparring and bag work. Overall I found them to be really hard to pull on and just did not care for the overall feel, also I figured if they were initially a pain to get on I would probably rip the stitching over time do long story short they probably would not be comfortable for those in the L/XL range. That being said for the most part Venum has gotten much better with their products so I would honestly recommend spending the money on their wrap around shin guards instead. Fair disclosure I have not used their wrap around yet but have been looking at buying a set of their Elite or Predator guards. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I'm 6'0" with longer legs than torso. I bought LARGE and think they will fit you just fine.

Answer:	I'm 6'2" 220, my calf's are about 16" 1/2 inches. Now that being said. I had to buy the XL because the calf strap runs small, and I don't think I'm that big of a guy. The package says it will fit but does not. Now for comfort and protection with the right size I love them. I leave with minimal brusing. That is for the shins, now the toe guard it runs very large, I have a size 12 foot and it runs all the may up to my toes nails which cause significant irritations, while moving around on the mat. If I had it to do over again I would try to find some hyabusas or Venums in town and try them and then order them off line. These are just my opinion from using them. I do love my pads and I have gotten use to the toe friction. And I would consider buying again if the strap issues were addressed.

Answer:	The small will fit, though these pads are a little to hard for my taste. I prefer "In Fight Style"They are considerably more expensive but in my opinion much better.

Answer:	These run a little big- I’m 6’ 265lbs and the xl are a just a little bigger than I’d like them to be so .... no bigger than medium for you I’m guessing. Good luck. ( They are excellent btw).

Answer:	It depends on the adult. Measure from top of foot to bottom of knee. Measure from front of shin where foot meets to toes. Then Measure the whole calf diameter. Those should be your measurements. These are good.
