Answer:	I have the medium sized mat and it’s plenty big for my 8 year old for years to come. I usually turn it up on its side and push it up against a wall for storage. Sticks out 15 inches from the wall and is 30 inches wide (and 30 inches tall folded and up on its side)

Answer:	I bought this for my daughter when she was 5 1/2 and it was a little big for her, but she was still able to use it with some assistance (I knowingly bought big because I wanted her to be able to use if for many years to come). She is 7 now and its the perfect fit for practicing back flips, but her hands and feet do not touch the floor just yet for back bends.

Question:	Has anyone else had quite a bit of bunching of the vinyl on their mat? We got ours in December and it’s just always bugged me how the vinyl is sagging
Answer:	Yes it folds. Each panel in the mat is 2ft long. So in a 4x6x2 mat there would be three sections. A 4x8x2 mat would have four sections.Thanks and I hope that helps!
Question:	Is this a good mat for back handsprings
Answer:	Mine is on carpet and withstands many (many) round off, back handspring combos daily without slipping. I am not sure about a concrete floor in a garage; however this is a sturdy, heavy duty mat.
Question:	Can these panels taken apart individually
Answer:	This is pretty firm. You could sleep on it but that's not it's intended use. Its firm to prevent injuries from rolled ankles or hard landings, so it might not be super comfortable.
Question:	I have a 6 year old who is in gymnastics primarily for tumbling. Which width is better, 1 3/8 or
Answer:	It folds out to the 4x6. It’s made as a trifold so it stores nicely at only 4’x2’ when folded.

Answer:	I recently bought a 60x30x15 folding wedge for my two girls, ages 9 and 6, and it's just the right size for them. My 6 yr old is small, about 44" tall, and she has no trouble with it. Keep in mind, however, that my girls have both been in gymnastics classes since they were 2-3 yrs old and are both on competitive teams, so their experience/ skills may not match up with those of your 5 yr old.
