Answer:	They really are dance shoes - satin outside, canvas inside, leather on sole of heel and toe. They wear well on a dance floor, but my one child wore hers outside to play one day and the satin was destroyed on the bottom of the foot and no longer looked nice.

Answer:	Hard to answer this question, I mean, they are a pretty cheap shoe... I think they are totally decent for the money, but they’re not leather Capezios or anything. My 4yo son has worn them for two seasons of ballet, plus a Halloween parade, and he is really hard on shoes but they seem to have stood up well. The “ribbon” is really just a colored rubber band and doesn’t stay tied so we took it out. Hope this helps!

Answer:	Yes but they won’t erase very easily! I’m not sure how hard it would be to get off pavement!
