Answer:	of course you can, go buy a brass 3/8 male close fitting and some teflon tape or paste ( i prefer the can of paste) put them together ond you are done

what is the heel height

Answer:

Every answer to this question is incorrect. Do not use thread tape or pipe dope on this type of connection. The seal is NOT at the threads as it is in N.P.T. fittings so there is nothing gained by sealing the threads. In fact, you could introduce tape or dope onto the actual seal and cause a leak. The seal is also NOT a compression fitting as that would require a malleable line (copper, nylon, etc.) and a ferrule. This is a simple gasket seal just like your garden hose. Look at the 3/8" fittings... they have black washers to seal to the male side. The size of the fitting is the same as you would use for a 3/8" compression fitting, but it is NOT a compression fitting. For this reason, you need to only hand tighten to seat the washer and then turn another 1/4 to 1/2 turn. If you over-tighten you can damage the washer... the thing that creates the seal. People should not answer questions if they don't actually know the answer.

Question:	Can these be rinsed off with a hose or under a kitchen faucet without damaging the inner lining? Is dish soap OK to use
Answer:	I’m not sure what a hot tub drain spicier is. But when you use this pimp it has to be in at least 4 1/2 in of water. As long as the ware is above 4 1/2 in of water it will work. The pump works really fast. We were pleased as how quick it emptied our 28 ft round pool!

Answer:	this sump pump‘s warranty period is one year

Answer:	The floating switch has to lifted up to a certain point (by water level typically) for it to start. Lift up the bulb switch and see if it runs. This keeps it from running without water to cool it and burn it out.

Answer:	My recollection is that it was round, about 7 inches in diameter. I don't have it anymore because it crapped out after running for an hour.
