Answer:	I ran a Marathon 4 days ago, a 20 mile training run 4 weeks ago. I drank electrolyte products, NUUN thruout the race, which helped me avoid the needles and pins problem. But a couple hours after both these races, I started getting leg cramps in calfs, feet, and hamstrings. The Expo before the marathon was handing out Hyland's Leg Cramp tablets, (4 per envelope). At the first onset of the cramping (about 1 hour after the race), I dissolved the 4 tablets under my tongue. Within a few minutes, cramps were gone. But about 2 hours later, they came back. Then I swallowed a 400 mg softgel capsule of NatureMade Magnesium. Then I laid down for a nap and the cramps never returned. Moral: The tablets work very well as soon as the cramping begins, but is temporary at best. Maybe taking the tablets thru out the race might have made a difference, but I doubt it. Answer:	Very effective. Encountered deep bruises on my rib cage from a fall. I didn't crack, break or fracture any ribs but the muscles and tendons around the ribs had severe contusions. My brother suggested I try Absorbine Veterinary Liniment. I was taken back by the name but he assured me that it worked on humans. I ordered it from Amazon. I used it daily twice a day. Within in a week the pain had subsided and the swelling decreased. By the end of a three (3) week period there was no pain or swelling. This is a fantastic product and I would suggest it to anyone!

Answer:	I have only used Absorbine Jr so I can't compare. However, a clerk helped me discover this at a tack shop.She had tried all the liniments there on her horses, but she said this was the best. It has twice the menthol other procucts. I use that first, add Aspercreme and wrap my knees. They stay that way until morning. They feel great after that but do not cover until you get used to that higher menthol. I got a few little rash the first time from using a LOT and then wrapping my knee with an ACE bandage.
