Answer:	I have always just used upon arrival. They get a wash after your first workout for sure.

Answer:	Definitely. I know some ladies who like the 180's cause they provide a lot of extra padding, because of small hands. Most ladies with small hands, prefer to use the 120's because they have a better fit. It's going to come down to personal preference. Just stay away from the 108's because those are for little kids.
