Answer:	I believed the only difference in the gloves is that one is for female and one is for male, perhaps the female is more little more lightweight and made to fit a ladies hand whereas the male has bigger hand fitting.

Answer:	I'd pick a glove based on your size/weight rather than your hand size. Hand wraps are mandatory if you don't want to injure your hands or cause issues down the road, and wraps will fill out the glove regardless of your hand size. My 12 year old wears 16 oz gloves when he spars for protection, but 12 oz gloves for training. I am 5'11 180 lbs male and I wear 16 oz gloves for both sparring and bag work. I'd urge you to look at a higher end glove if you are using them regularly. These are really cheaply made gloves and will probably hurt your hands.

Answer:	all gloves fit the same on the inside. the size is in reference to the amount of padding the glove offers. 16 oz means more padding and is typically used for sparring. 12 oz is lesser padding and typically used for bag work. I suggest using 16's for both because the added weight adds to the workout and increases the stamina in your arms (keep em up) :) if in doubt, ask your gym!

Answer:	I received black wraps with the red gloves so I am assuming that is the universal color that will come with all glove. I suggest their quick wraps once back in stock instead.

Answer:	Choosing weight of the gloves is the industry standard. Also, different manufacturers, whether textile or clothing, have their own standards. In my case, I have small hands (I am 5'7" @ 185lbs, yep fat), but I wanted to get a workout with heavier gloves and the got 16 oz, but they were too big and ended up getting the 12 oz as it fit better and was more comfortable. That is my experience with Hayabusa S4 Training Gloves.

I wanted a less expensive backup pair for when he spends the night and his gloves are at his house. They told me not to get the 4 oz for him. their exact words was " don't follow the children's guidelines. they recommended 8-10oz. the coaches and owner said the 8 and 10 will protect his hands better. there is very little to no protection with the 4oz gloves. I was also told the 8-10oz would also last longer than the 4oz. one coach said the higher the better. so I mentioned they have a 12,14 and 16oz.... all 3 coaches and the owner said NOOOOOOO at the same time. those are way to big!! he meant compared with the 4oz. I saw another brand, Sanabul and looked into the colors and sizes. they had a section on buying for children. it said 8-10oz is recommended. Right now I am going back and forth trying to decide which one of the two I should buy. I already have the Sanabul MMA punching mitt and I like both the Elite and the Sanabul gloves so which do I buy????? I do know which ever it is, it will be 10oz. About Everlast

The name Everlast is synonymous with boxing. Renown internationally as a manufacturer of boxing equipment, Everlast started out as a swimwear manufacturer in 1910. Headquartered in the Bronx, NY, the company was founded by 17-year-old Jacob Golomb. The son of a tailor and an avid swimmer, Jacob Golomb was dissatisfied with the durability of swimsuits because they barely lasted a season, so he began making suits that he guaranteed would last for a full year. He proudly gave them the name, Everlast. Although the swimsuits did not last through the years, the name did.

Over the next years, Golomb expanded his company into a small retail store that carried a full line of sports equipment. In 1917, a young fighter named Jack Dempsey introduced boxing to Golomb and Everlast. Dempsey asked Golomb to construct protective headgear that would last more than 15 rounds of intensive boxing training. Golomb specially designed the training gear for Dempsey. In 1919, Dempsey won the world’s heavyweight championship wearing boxing gloves made for him by Golomb. Everlast became the headquarters for boxing equipment throughout the world. In 1925, Golomb designed elastic-waist trunks to replace the leather-belted trunks then worn by boxers. These trunks, now known as boxer trunks, immediately became famous. Jacob Golomb ran the business until he passed away in the early 1950’s and his son, Dan, took over. In 1958, Ben Nadorf joined Everlast and purchased 50% of the company from the Golomb family. When Dan Golomb passed away in 1995, Nadorf purchased the family’s remaining 50% interest. Nadorf remained the President and Principle Share Holder of Everlast until October 24, 2000.

Everlast men’s and women’s apparel and accessories continue today to be tremendously successful both inside and outside the ring. In addition, Everlast boxing trunks and equipment remain the proud and undefeated champion of the boxing industry for more than 90 years. The history continues, as the name states. Answer:	I like the 12 oz. My girlfriend prefers the 14 oz. I think it's very personal depending on your level of experience. 8 oz is much to light if you are in decent condition.
