Answer:	I purchased the vinyl ones after I had a pair of the neoprene. First, I actually had one of my neoprene weights split in half. Couldn't believe it. Second, the neoprene smell awful, leaving your hands with the same smell. Third, the grip on the vinyl weights is so much better. No fear of slipping with these. They are the best weights I've owned! Hope this helps.

Answer:	Grip size is all the same for all paddles at 4 1/8th which is pretty small to begin with. I have younger boys who can handle the paddle pretty well, in terms of weight I would look at the Neutron 2.0 at 7.0 ounce or the Twister at 7.4 ounces. They're the two lightest paddles I have.
