Answer:	I don't know what the balls are made of as they are painted and haven't chipped. We've really clobbered them and they hold up. I can't tell their makeup from their sound or weight either. Sorry. I'll say this about the set. It's the best quality set I've seen in my 59 years. No issue with mallet damage. The mallet heads screw in nicely without cross threading and stay tight. The rungs are somewhat thick metal so don't bend. The set holder carries everything and looks good. We got the longest handles. Shorter kids can always choke up. We made a rope 100' long with two 50' cross ropes and markers on it to lay out a standard field which speeds set up. After a meteor hits the earth, cockroaches and these croquet sets will remain. No complaints.

The object of Bocce is to get as many of your bocce (bigger, weighted balls) as close to the pallino (smaller target ball) as possible. If you are successful in getting your bocce closer to the pallino than your opponent, you are awarded points.

Bocce Ball Playing Surfaces:

Bocce Ball can be played on a variety of flat surfaces such as: Bocce Ball Courts, Beach Sand and Yards or Parks. A large area is needed in order to make the game more challenging. An actual Bocce Ball court measures 76 feet long and 12 feet wide. The game however is just as much fun without the court.

Let’s START the Game

Bocce is the third most popular game in the world behind golf and soccer. The winner of the coin toss throws the pallino. Toss is valid if the pallino passes the center line and does not touch the back wall on opposite end.If the player fails to place the pallino in valid area, the opposing team will put the pallino in play. If both players fail, the pallino returns to the original team for an additional attempt. Alternating process continues until pallino is in valid position. The team that originally tossed the pallino will play the first ball awarded.

Question:	Are the bocce balls solid or are they filled with water/liquid
Answer:	Not solid. Not sure what they are filled with. Don't think it's sand. May be some liquid.
Question:	Could you play in a gym
Answer:	I was say yes,sink they are a thick softer plastic. They wouldn't be very loud or damage the floor.
Question:	is this a light weight bocce for the sand
Answer:	It is light weight and you can use it in the sand. I wouldn't say its specifically for sand. When I received it it reminded me of a child's version of the game.

Answer:	The set includes 4 balls of each colour as well as the pallino (little white target ball) and carry bag. Measuring tape is not included. The best tape for this type of game is a lawn bowling measure or a "bowls" measure. You can get them on amazon or etsy for $16 - $35.00.
Question:	What size palino comes with this set
Answer:	Same as the description says, 50mm ( 2 inch ). The standard size for Open Rules Bocce played in the clubs in the USA.
Question:	how do I order a set of yellow and blue along with the green and red? We have 2 courts and want 4 different colors

Answer:	You keep your receipt and if you break a ball within 10 years we will supply a replacement. Customer pays for the shipping. Broken ball needs to be returned to us. Warranty does not include damage caused by hitting rocks, concrete curbs , metal bolts etc.
