Answer:	Probably so. We played on the beach this summer at night and it was really fun. We were careful to not let the balls go into the water but these are solid and not delicate. The light is contained in a small recess in the ball and there is a gasket so playing in the snow would be fine. They might not roll in light snow but on a hard packed driveway they'd be really fun.

Answer:	I have the same issue. All balls work except small white ball. I have not been able to find a replacement - if anyone has a solution, please share!

Answer:	The balls are made of a hard plastic, so are hard and have a pleasant feel to them.

Answer:	You unscrew the cap. Take a small Phillips and take the small screw out. Replace with batteries. Duracell 389/390 is an easier one to find then the original Chinese batteries that come with it. Just make sure you replace the correct colors in the balls. They are colored to match.

They have a nice smooth firm “hand feel” and appear to be accurately weighted. They will show scuffs if an errant ball strikes a hard surface like concrete, but they seem impervious to damage when they strike each other during play.
