The altimeter contributes to your excursion in several ways. Similarly, if you plan on climbing a slope to a certain elevation and then traversing, the Core can help you stay on course. And as a bonus, the Suunto Core includes a unique start-from-zero function, so you don't have to enter a reference altitude. Likewise, if you were on a climb, it would be prudent to find shelter and retreat. Even at home, the Suunto Core barometer can look beyond office walls, skyscrapers, and nearby hills to help you plan for upcoming activities.

If you want a weather forecast that extends out a few hours, you can turn to the built-in weather trend indicator. The indicator shows the barometric history for the last three and six hours, helping you predict the weather with amazing accuracy. What's more, the watch doesn't give you a regional forecast posted earlier in the day, but rather the most current information about the weather directly overhead. And no outdoor watch is worth its salt without a digital compass, a great tool for keeping track of your direction while skiing, hiking, or exploring a new city. You can set and follow a bearing with a traditional rotating bezel, or simply point the top of the watch toward your intended destination and lock it in.

Suunto was founded in 1936 by outdoors man and a keen orienteering enthusiast, Tuomas Vohlonen, who had long been bothered by a problem: the inaccuracy of traditional dry compasses and their lack of steady needle operation. Question:	what size wrist does the standard black rubber strap fit
Answer:	My wrist is ~8.5", maybe a little more. The Vector band fits my wrist on the last hole. There is not enough band left to fit into the sleeve intended to secure the end of the band. The Core band is about 3/4" longer.

Answer:	I have been researching the Suunto Core All Black to find the best price for purchase. One of the key features needed is an alarm clock, but I could not find any definitive information as to whether it had one or not. Even the Suunto website and manual was not very cut and dry with an answer. I contacted Suunto customer service and asked about this function (pf which they responded in the affirmative), but I also asked the comment made here stating Amazon purchases are not honored via warranty. Suunto stated this is COMPLETELY FALSE! Amazon IS an authorized reseller. You need only keep your receipt. Finally have this issue/question clearly and easily resolved after so many guesses since 2013!

Answer:	Hello - While it is water resistant, we recommend storing the set away in a safe place away from any elements when not in use to prolong the life of the set.
Question:	Does the ladder toss fall over easily
Answer:	It didn't fall over but it is super cheaply made. The poles melted in the sun and bent over so it was unusable.
Question:	is it sand weigted
Answer:	No. The design has a fairly broad base for stability, and the bills aren't too heavy. As a result, the units don't tip during play. You could add sand to the bottom tubes, if you wanted but it would be a mess to clean up.
Question:	Can 4 year olds play this game
Answer:	My 4 year old grandson plays this all the time and loves it. We just let him stand a little closer to the target and it works great.

Question:	Do the Kans collapse for storage in a dorm
Answer:	Kan Jam will lay flat on the ground. Can be stored under a bed -- in a closet. Each Kan is about 1/4 inch wide so both Kan's together is takes up less than an inch of space. The height of the can is about 3 feet the length is about 4 1/2 feet -- as indicated earlier it lays flat so can either be put to the side of a bed by the wall or under the bed.

Answer:	If you are looking for the most fun you have ever had on the beach, then yes, this game is for you! It can get a bit tricky if there is a lot of wind, but if it is too windy, you can always bring the goals closer to each other to lessen the impact of the wind.

Answer:	we tied rope around the cans then staked it down.. it didn't really work out so well. then later i found out at a local can jam tournament that there are rules in the book about the can falling over. so your not supposed to tie it down. a for instance is apparently if the disc goes in the top but the can falls over and the disc rolls back out of the top its considered a hit not a basket so its not worth three points. however i have used duck tape to make a little cross section inside the bottom and placed rocks on the duck tape so we could play on windy days and that seemed to work pretty well and it only cost like 3 bucks

Answer:	This is an outstanding rocker with an easy motion. It is the best of both worlds. The shock absorbers on the back legs keep it smooth and easy allowing for a gentle rocking motion But when you want the chair to "act" like a chair, such as at a table, the front legs are fixed, so you can stop the forward motion without the chair continuing to tilt forward.

Answer:	the 2 piece is actually a little larger diameter at 1-5/8" vs the 3 piece 1-1/2" The larger diameter a tube the stronger its rigidity to bending.
Question:	Which is better the 2 piece pole or 3 piece pole? More durable
Answer:	I think we had the 2 or 3 piece and it started to bend shortly after we purchased it. My husband went to the hardware store and bought a galvanized steel pole and attached the thether to that.
Question:	Can you use an umbrella stand to hold the pole
Answer:	In my opinion it would need to be a really heavy umbrella stand. We put my grandson's in a tire with cement. When the kids hit that ball around at breakneck speed it's got to have enough weight at the bottom to keep it from tipping or falling over. You could try the umbrella stand and if it doesn't work I'd recommend a tire/cement. Like an umbrella stand you can move it anywhere in the yard as needed.

Answer:	Anything and everything can get damaged with time and usage. But your immediate answer is No! We used ours in the ocean and pool and realized that everything floats. I would recommend rinsing the nets with fresh water (in a tub) after using them in the salty ocean. Enjoy! It is a really fun game. Also would recommend buying 2 sets for more people.
Question:	confused on how this works, is there a rubber cord attached to ball so it never gets lost
Answer:	it acts almost like a sling shot. The rubber band on the ball is to shoot the ball and the other person catches it in the net. Each hand unit has a net and a hook to sling the ball.

Answer:	From what I remember the balls are rather small, so if those are the only two choices, I'd pick the smaller size. I LOVE this game. It's a blast at the park or the beach.
