Answer:	I believe the 300/150/30 (along with the stated times for each) is just describing the automatic decrease in brightness over time (to avoid overheating) if you put it in high mode and leave it there continuously.

Answer:	Fairly strong for how small it is. I currently wear it clipped inside my left pocket, I carry my keys and have an Apple Watch on the same side with no ill effects towards my keys or watch. I’d say there’s 2 inches of space between my keys and the bottom of the flashlight and I don’t have any issues with it being too powerful.

Answer:	I would assume not because it is a waterproof flashlight and can work underwater. Therefore if the contacts can connect through water it should be fine with metal.

Answer:	Rather than punch the "I don't know" button, I'll offer this, even though I don't know.... I've have mine for about a year and it likely is the "older" model and therefore 35 lumens. But I am amazed at how much light that little AAA battery can throw and how long the battery lasts. I view this device as a piece of survival gear. Therefore battery life is important. If given a choice, I'd go with the 35 lumen, assuming a 45 lumen would take a larger drain on the life of the battery. 35 lumens from this flashlight, is a lot of light!
