Answer:	I had the same question. I thought I had seen slightly different numbers for non-reflective targets but now I can't find that article. The Bushnell site was no help because they make it appear as if the Engage doesn't exist yet. It's not rare that the mfg site detail lags behind other sellers. Frustrating.

Question:	How does the laser rangefinder work
Answer:	When using the laser rangefinder 1100yards 7X, you will be aiming at the target you want the distance. Looking through the view-port, you can target the tree, a hazard, or anything else you want. When you press the power button on the laser rangefinder, it will then send a laser at your target. When that light hits an object, it is reflected back to the device. By measuring the time it takes for it to reach the target and bounce back, the laser travels at a specific speed, so the rangefinder can determine the distance and will be displayed on the view port. This way you can quickly point, click, and be done. It happens at the speed of light, so the whole process is exceptionally quick.

In default, short press the "Power" button after targeting, the real horizontal distance and height will be displayed on the LCD

Our S7-1200 is a smart rangefinder which can recognize hunters/golfers intention to capture a difficult target and accomplish the mission. When target like flag or animals is far away, not easy to capture, please stand still, aim at target, press and hold the measure button to get distance.

Hunting

Factors that influence Ranging capability

① Environment factor: The environment factors including sunshine intensity, the concentration of water vapor in the air and suspended particles.(rain fog,snow,fog, haze,etc.)

② Target reflectivity: Generally speaking, the higher the reflectivity of the object,the better the ranging ability.

③ Target shape: When a target is too small or uneven, ranging capability and range corresponding speed will decrease.

Range and Scanning Mode

Short press the "Power" button after targeting, the distance will be displayed on the LCD; Hold down "Power" button while ranging to activate the continuous measurement scan mode, the data on the LCD will change as your move.

Flag Lock with Vibration
