User questions & answers

Question: im unable to keep the Wraith sighted in. What could be the problem? How to fix
Answer: I would contact UUQ customer service. From what I've read, they are very helpful and accommodating.
Question: Will this work with a 300winmag? Does it work equally well for a daytime scope
Answer: I dont know how big your blackout pistol is, so very hard to answer ... but if this helps the scope is about 13 inches long and approx 4 inches high to the top of reflex sight. It is somewhat heavy, as it made my 15-22 about twice as much weight as it was without. However, if you have the room for it, i still think its a great little scope. I would say however that for my 22 its fine, but if you are going to do long range shooting, the optics are clear, but paralax is lacking. if you want to use 16x you better be looking at something a long way off or it will be fuzzy. Hope this helps
Question: Anyone put this on a scar 17 yet
Answer: There's a dial on top of the eye piece, it has five brightness settings and off.
Question: Does it come with cr123 batteries? Or do i need to purchase these
Answer: Yes. It’s a great scope.

Sightmark Triple Duty Riflescope

The Sightmark Triple Duty Series of riflescopes use cutting edge glass and lens coatings to ensure that it is the most accurate riflescope in its class. Precision multicoated optics are a distinguishing feature of the Sightmark Triple Duty riflescope line; multicoated lenses offer a clear view for easy target acquisition in both bright and low light situations. Both waterproof and fog proof, the nitrogen filled Sightmark Triple Duty Series features oversized windage, elevation and parallax adjustment knobs for easy adjustment in the field. Locking mechanisms on the windage and elevation adjustments ensure that the scope stays zeroed. Internal lit Mil-Dot reticles help shooters successfully make accurate shots over a wide range of distances and lighting conditions.

Windage and Elevation Adjustment

Use a 1.5mm metric hex wrench to loosen the three set screws located along the scalloped edge of the elevation turret. Next, lock down the locking thumb screw on top of the knob. Then rotate the knob and set the MOA hash marks back to zero. Once the knob is zeroed, retighten the three set screws making sure not to over-torque and strip them. After all three set screws are sufficiently tightened, the mechanism will re-engage.

MD Reticle

The US Army Mil Dot reticle (MD and MDD) comes in two illumination versions. The MD reticle, initially Sightmark’s standard reticle, illuminates the entire Mil-Dot crosshair. This is intended to provide the shooter a keen aiming point for assistance in accurate shooting. In order to use the Mil-Dot reticle accurately, please read the following: Mil stands for millradian, 1/1623.2th of a circle or 3.438 MOA. The millradian represents 1 unit at 1000 yds. To simplify, a target that is one yard tall at 1000 yds would measure 1 millradian.

Parallax Adjustment

Sightmark’s higher magnification riflescopes do come equipped with a parallax adjustment knob. Parallax is the change of angular position of two stationary points relative to each other as seen by an observer. In other words, it’s how the image lines up in the riflescope and how the eye perceives it. Be sure to adjust the parallax knob to the correct shooting range. It is very important to keep this in mind when zeroing the rifle. If this is not taken into consideration at the time of sighting in the riflescope, accuracy will diminish.

CD Reticle

The Circle Dot reticle (CD) features a circle dot with illumination capability. Provided only on the 1-6x24, the circle dot provides accurate shooting results at any magnification level. Perfect for tactical shooting, the circle dot rovides quick taget acquisition at 1x magnification and supreme accuracy at 6x magnification ideal for when conflicts advance to medium range shooting.

CDX Reticle

The Circle Dot Duplex reticle (CDX) features a circle dot with illumination capability with broad exterior subtensions. The central circle dot provides accurate shooting results at any magnification level; and with illumination capability it provides reticle contrast against backgrounds in low light conditions. The shortened exterior subtensions create an unobstructed view of the target allowing for quick target acquisition at any range.

DX Reticle

The Dot Duplex reticle (DX) features a fine central crosshair with a center illumination aiming point. This provides the shooter a keen aiming point for added accuracy while shooting. The broad exterior subtensions create contrast between the target allowing for quick reticle recognition. The Dot Duplex reticle creates an unobstructed view of the target, perfect for making precision shots while hunting.

MDD Reticle

The US Army Mil Dot reticle (MD and MDD) comes in two illumination versions. The MDD version illuminates the center point of the Mil-Dot cross hair only. This is intended to provide the shooter a keen aiming point for assistance in accurate shooting. In order to use the Mil-Dot reticle accurately, please read the following:

Mil stands for millradian, 1/1623.2th of a circle or 3.438 MOA. The millradian represents 1 unit at 1000 yds. To simplify, a target that is one yard tall at 1000 yds would measure 1 millradian.

We understand that the needs of shooters differ, not only when and where they are hunting, but also the type of weapon they are shooting. Each scope features multi-coated lenses, low-profile capped turrets, and a fully weatherproof body for exceptional dependability, rain or shine.

Shooters have the luxury of a capped or exposed turret option as well as scratch-resistant lenses, helping to further protect the optic from impact.

Product features

Sightmark Citadel LR2 Riflescope

Situated on the high ground of close-to-long range optic performace, Citadel Riflescopes include affordable first-focal-plane, long-range capability and second-focal-plane tactical solutions. Citadel series optics are perfect for precision shooters, multi-gun competitors, hunters, and yes, most definitely, LEOs who demand and deserve peace of mind reliability.

Sightmark’s line of Citadel Riflescopes are designed to help professional, competitive and recreational shooters climb to the top of their game with impenetrable confidence and win the day with feature-rich, premium performing optics. All Sightmark Citadel riflescopes boast 30mm single-piece, aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum tubes; premium, fully multi-coated glass; fine-etched, red-illuminated reticles; lens covers; throw levers; IP67 waterproof, dustproof, fogproof and shockproof reliability.

Parallax Correction

The Sightmark Citadel riflescope is equipped with a side focus dial that is used to eliminate parallax and finely focus the image. Parallax occurs when the image of the target does not focus at the same optical plane as the reticle inside the riflescope. When parallax is present, the reticle appears to move over the target when the shooter’s eye is not centered to the eyepiece. Adjusting the side focus dial properly will eliminate parallax.

Windage and Elevation Adjustments

The Sightmark Citadel riflescope has finger adjustable elevation and windage adjustments with audible clicks. The Citadel LR2 have locking, pop-up turrets. These turrets must be pulled up to disengage the locking mechanism. Once disengaged, adjustments can be made. When adjustments are finished, the turret can be pushed back down to lock the adjustment

LR2 Reticle

The LR2 reticle is based on milliradian (mrad or mil) design. Milliradian is a measurement of angle. A single mil is equal to 3.6” at 100 yards. The adjustments in the Citadel 3-18x50 and 5-30x56 riflescope is .1mrad, meaning that each click will move the point of impact .36” at 100 yards or 1cm at 100 meters. The reticle is a first focal plane reticle. This style of reticle will grow along with the image as magnification is increased. The advantage of a first focal plane reticle is that the dimensions of the reticle will be true at any magnification. Therefore, rangefinding and performing holdovers can be done at any point in the magnification range.

Diopter Adjustment

The Sightmark Citadel riflescope eyepiece is designed to rotate to adjust for diopter. Diopter is the measurement of the eye’s curvature. Sightmark Core TX Series

Designed to enhance the performance of the modern sporting rifle, the Sightmark Core TX Riflescope Series has been designed for accuracy and reliability. Each scope in this tactical series has been carefully crafted to overcome the challenges shooters encounter in the field.

Sightmark Core TX riflescopes use fully multi-coated optics to provide optimal light transmission in a variety of conditions. Etched glass reticles are illuminated to deliver optimal shot placement and are durable enough to withstand hours of shooting.

The Core TX riflescopes feature exposed, lockable turrets which help maintain a consistent zero. Turrets are quick and easy to adjust to compensate for bullet drop and windage on the fly.

Windage and Elevation Adjustment

The Sightmark Core TX riflescopes are equipped with exposed, lockable windage and elevation turrets. Each scope has it’s MOA click value marked on the adjustment. For example, a ¼ MOA click means each click moves the point of impact .25” at 100yards. 1 MOA of movement would require 4 clicks.

Illumination Control

The Sightmark Core TX Riflescopes use an etched reticle. The reticle can be used without illumination and will appear black. The dial is marked with “G” for green or “R” for red followed by the brightness setting ranging from 0 (off) to 5. Setting 5 is best for bright, outdoor environments. Setting 1 is best for low light environments.

DCR Dual Caliber Reticle

This reticle is calibrated for .223 Rem. (55gr and 62gr) and .308 Win. (150gr and 155gr) and was designed for triple duty application: tactical, competition, and hunting. The design provides a fine .3 MOA central aiming crosshair at higher magnifications and holdovers for 300yd, 400yd, 500yd, 600yd and 700yd. The reticle was designed for a 100 yard zero. The calibers and grains ideal for this reticle shoot relatively flat, so the central aiming point of the reticle is used to shoot targets from 0 to 200 yards. For the most accurate precision at 200 yards, it is recommended to aim 3” high on the target or 1.5 MOA.

The Citadel LR1 have locking, pop-up turrets. These turrets must be pulled up to disengage the locking mechanism. Once disengaged, adjustments can be made. When adjustments are finished, the turret can be pushed back down to lock the adjustment

LR1 Reticle

The LR1 riflescope uses a Minute Of Angle (MOA) reticle and adjustments. The reticles are first focal plane, thus will grow in size as magnification is increased and vice versa. The advantage is the dimensions of the reticle will be true at any magnifications. The reticles can be used to determine target range and perform shot holdovers for wind/drop compensation accurately at any magnification. The vertical and horizontal MOA scales are scaled in 2 MOA increments. The top, left, and right end of the vertical and horizontal scale are scaled in .5 MOA increments. The reticle’s drop lines contain a series of reference dots for quick windage holdovers in 1 MOA increments. Finally, the aiming crosshair is .12 MOA.

Diopter Adjustment

The Sightmark Citadel riflescope eyepiece is designed to rotate to adjust for diopter. Diopter is the measurement of the eye’s curvature. By rotating the eyepiece, the diopter is adjusted to properly match each person’s vision. If the reticle does not appear clear, crisp, nor sharp, rotate the eyepiece until the reticle becomes clear and sharp. This adjustment should stay the same unless the riflescope’s operator changes.

At 6x magnification, the 1 MOA aiming dot is used to engage targets from 0 to 200 yards. The reticle consists of a circle dot design for quick target acquisition in close range engagements. At 1x magnification, the outer circle will cover approximately 15 inches of a target at 25 yards. This is nearly equivalent to shoulder width of IPSC targets. Below the aiming dot, holdovers can be used to determine range of IPSC targets and perform ballistic holdovers out to 600 yards. Finally, the main horizontal subtension is scaled in 5 MOA increments (at 6x) and can be used for leads for moving targets.

Diopter Adjustment
