Answer:	No … But the one I bought was junk anyway. It was improperly machined and didn't align with the barrel . . . off by about 8 feet at 100 yds. Get your $$$ back.

Answer:	No, you don't need to. The battery is accessible on the side, right in the control knob. To change the battery, just unscrew the battery cover, insert new battery +side up, then put the cover back. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Have it mounted on a 45-70. Still in the process of sighting in. It jumps around a little when you change recticles. No magnification so at over 50 yards it is hard to bulls eye. It is about like shooting with iron sights but can get on target very quickly.

Answer:	Works very well. I have it on an 8.5" pistol build and at 10 yards, standing with no support, it holds a 2" group. Standing supported, it held a 1/2 inch group.

Answer:	Derek, great question. MOA stands for "Minute of Angle". If your scope laser, red dot, iron sight etc. is calibrated at "MOA = 1 inch at 100 yards" this just means one click of the adjustment knob(s) will move the bullet impact point up/down or left/right 1 inch at 100 yards. If your gun shoots 3 inches high simply turn the vertical adjusting knob screw down three clicks to correct the aim point. At 50 yards three clicks will lower the aimpoint 1 and 1/2 inches. There are many different types of MOA's depending on the scope type and use. Look up minute of arc on Wikipedia. Look up 'scope zeroing' on YouTube. Try the PyramidAir blogs and other airgun sites for great information on MOA. You will find MOA is a great place to learn the pratical use of: math, geometry, physics, optics and self discipline how to do it right and how to do it the same way over and over. Answer:	The scope comes ready to mount to any picatinny rail system. I was able to mount directly to my AR without the riser. That said, it does make it difficult to get two fingers on the charging handle but it’s manageable. For me, it’s worth the trade off to avoid the weight of the riser- which is about 1/2 a pound.
