Answer:	I put mine on a .177 nitro piston air rifle shooting 1200fps and it has been a perfect match for eliminating garden pests from 15 to 40 yards. Make sure you purchase dovetail scope rings that are high enough to provide clearance for your particular rifle, (medium profile minimum).

Answer:	Unfortunately, it is not sock resistant. As a matter of fact, socks will actually dissolve the scope. You've been warned. Oh, and dont feed it after midnight, OR get it wet..

Answer:	The quality of Vortex and the lifetime replacement warrenty should give you peace of mind to try it. 44 mag means you'll have to invest in some quality rings, however. Zero will move if you cheap out on the mount with that much powder going through.

Answer:	The eye relief of this scope is only about 2.5" which is fine for low recoil guns like the AR but may not be enough for the recoil of a .308.

Answer:	I wouldn't recommend this product. Mine failed after only 32 rounds on a 6.5 creedmore, which is very low recoil and, as a bolt action PRS, doesn't get banged around like an MSR would.

Question:	It says shockproof, is the gun actualy rated for use on an air rifle
Answer:	No they won't, these work on the 11mm rail that is on air rifles and many older 22s. The 597 uses a 22mm weaver rail that most centerfield rifles use, get medium height rings for a weaver rail and you are good to go. That's what works on my 597 with factory rail
Question:	will this fit marlin model 60 with equipment provided with scope thankd
Answer:	If the cricket has the smaller, rimfire / air rifle grooves or rail then yes, 11mm = 7/16" is what this fits.
Question:	What size rings come with this scope
Answer:	It will fit on a regular rail, no pin stop hole required. The pin stop on the scope ring is a allen wrench screw in the center of the ring. You can raise and lower it using a allen wrench.
Question:	Will this work on a Ruger 10/22 Carbine
Answer:	The pin is there to keep scope mount from sliding. Depends on the manufacture as to whether you can pull or tap pin out. Hope that helps.

Question:	Will it stand the recoil of a 30-06 bolt action
Answer:	Probably, I have it on my AR and it hasn't shifted any, worst case scenario, it can't, and you have a decent scope for a smaller rifle. If it can, please put it in the reviews, as I want to mount it on a 32 Winchester special lever gun I'm building. 😁
Question:	Can rifle iron sights still be seen under scope
Answer:	I can still see mine. I have it on a Hi-Point 9mm carbine that has everything you can buy for it. If you can't on your model rifle you can buy taller scope rings for a few dollars more. I also bought one for my Browning A5. This has a peep site so it works really nice on that. I have a really expensive scope on my .22 and the quality of this scope is just as good.
Question:	How far is it effective and can I put it on a Mosin Nagant
Answer:	It is effective with no parallax within 100 yards. Once it is beyond 100 yards, you might need to estimate the drop distance of the bullet. This scope fits all standard 20mm picatinny rail.

Answer:	The laser is visible at night and the recticle is illuminated, however it does not illuminate the target. If you can't see it with your naked eyes you won't see it through this scope. Works great in combination with a flashlight though.

That said, it does make it difficult to get two fingers on the charging handle but it’s manageable. For me, it’s worth the trade off to avoid the weight of the riser- which is about 1/2 a pound.
