I have been using it in my yard now for several months and it takes between 200 and 1300 pictures per day. These batteries last for at least two to three weeks after having taken well over 5000 still pictures at the lowest pixel setting. My current set has been in the camera for over four weeks now which is more than sufficient for me. This one is at my house where I check the pictures every day but even if it was in the woods, it would work fine for me on these rechargeables since I check those cameras at least once a month. Have not used the Eneloop batteries on this particular camera but use them on the older models and suspect they should work fine on this model.

That is when I realized I could get just as good pictures with a game camera for a lot less money. This camera is all that it says it is! Question:	How do the batteries hold up in cold weather
Answer:	Battery life sucks! Tried this for for 5 months. Tried several different types/brands of batteries. Camera was set to record 15 second video. Batteries only last about 3 days of camera used only at night with limited captures. First and second day had full video. Third day, all video only recorded at less than 5 second length each. Apparently as soon as battery voltage drops only slightly, camera cuts back video dramatically. Replaced batteries after 3rd day, camera functions correctly. All batteries removed and tested and only showed a slight drop from new batteries (used batteries worked fine in flashlight).
Question:	Can you loom at images in the field? Does it have an ir night mode or flash
Answer:	This camera does not have field viewing capability. The LCD Screen is for programming only. Regarding IR, this camera is one of the better ones for night photos.

Answer:	Yeah, a huge metal belt clip. and comes with a pouch as well. both are not very useful. But the mono itself and the R/T are awesome!
Question:	Is this a range finder? Thank you
Answer:	Yes, it does contain a range finder. It is an optical rangefinder based on a graduated reticle. It is not an electronic rangefinder where you press a button and get a number. To use the Vortex R/T (Ranging/Tactical), you need to know the approximate height of the object. That info, combined with the built-in reticle will give you the distance. An internet image search will give you a picture of the reticle, and several sites have info on how to use it. As an example, if a human (2 meters tall) viewed through the scope was 3 hash marks high (milliradians) then the distance would be 2 meters X 1000 / 3 (hash marks) = 666.6 meters (give or take). As a side note, I really enjoy mine, goes with me often on hikes. Well built and compact.

R/T Ranging Reticle

The R/T ranging reticle is based on a form of angular measurement called the milliradian (mrad for short). These angular measurements allow a user to calculate ranges when comparing the reticle to objects of known dimension. The key to effective ranging using this reticle is knowing common objects in your vicinity and their measurements.

Adjusting the Focus

Designed for quick single-handed operation, simply place the thumb and forefinger on the focus wheel and turn to move lens forward or backward.

Question:	How large is the actual imager? it say 16mp images, sure, but that doesn’t actually mean a 16mp imager
Answer:	You'll need 8 AA batteries and a standard physical size sd card not a micro size that's used in cell phones. They say not to use over 32GB. I don't go higher than 16GB. I also use 4GB and 8GB. The sd cards also have a rating in quality. Look for it inside a small circle. 10 is higher than a 4 or 6. Don't worry too much about the rating number. The picture quality is more closely related to your equipment.
Question:	how well does it perform in below freezing temperatures
Answer:	PIR motion detection range is 70 degrees to 70 feet, IR detection distance is 70 feet.
Question:	How good is the night vision on this camera
Answer:	Yes the set I got has four medium spiral core strings.
Question:	Am I seeing this correctly, it can be mounted with a strap or screwed to the tree
Answer:	One can buy a set of 4, or each string individually. I bought the set and found the G and C strings a bit bright, so I replaced them with my old Pirastro Golds.
