Answer:	Yes, I have used it on a stainless steel Thompson muzzleloader. The magnet sticks but you will be lucky to be on paper at 100 yards. I’ve used this on Weatherby Mark Vs and found the barrel to not be square at that range. 20-25 yards max and even at that range, an 18” target is nice to have for the 1st shot.

Answer:	First, don't get a red laser. You can't see it very well in sunlight past about 10 yards. Secondly, the Sitelite requires various adapters to fit in various bore sizes; a big hassel. The Wheeler fits on every bore using a strong magnet with no modification required. The Wheeler has a better battery system. A green laser Wheeler can be used to scare geese and other birds out of your yard without shooting them. Just point the laser at their feet and they will take off.
Question:	at what distance can you see the green kaser
Answer:	The green laser is quite bright when and if it works properly. Mine had a short in the switch so its brightness was inconsistent. Still even in bright daylight it was not visible as far as I'd expected. 25 yards or so, more if aimed into a shaded area. Regardless mine had a faulty switch and the laser was not perfect centered in the unit, thus making my sighting in less accurate than expected. The rifle I tried this with was barely on paper at 50 yards. You are better off getting the Bushnell Prodessional Boresighter. I have it now and each time I've used it I was zeroed in less than 10 shots. It's worth the money way more so than the laser type. I tried other laser ones as well all had misaligned lasers that produced poor results.
Question:	The acc. of this bore sighter seems to be dependent on a perfectly perpendicular end of the barrel which does not affect how true the bullet flies
Answer:	The accuracy is dependent on the accuracy of the milling of the rifle. Most rifles should be milled with close enough tolerances to make the bore sighter effective to get in the general vicinity of where the bullet is going to hit.

How to use the bore sight?

1.Unscrew the back cap from the bore sight by turning counter clockwise

2.Stand the bore sight on a flat surface with the laser side pointing down

3.Insert batteries (+ side up) inside the rear opening

4.Carefully push down and turn the screw cap clockwise to tighten the cap (the laser is now on)

5.Place in your rifle’s chamber and close the bolt

6.To remove - open the bolt if it does not automatically extract, manually remove the unit by tilting the rifle’s barrel upward (always practicing safe firearm practices)

7.Unscrew the back and remove the batteries to turn the unit off

Answer:	Good Evening Mitch, I would not buy this product from Amazon. The first laser came defective and arrived at my door stop sending error codes. When I contacted amazon they told me the seller was closed for a week but assured me that if I bought another one the return would go through. Amazon did not return the laser and now I have two of them, out a couple thousand dollars. After months of countless phone conversations and being placed on hold they had me send the laser back. After months of not returning the money and having the laser they returned it after threatening legal action. So now I have two working lasers but I only need one. I would highly recommend going through the supplier directly.

Answer:	I wouldn't use this for a pond. Use a barely ball, it is natural and works great for ponds.

Measure approximate distance from the middle of the bore and the middle of the scope. use that distance as a guide to place the boresighter on the front of the barrel. looking through the scope and adjust to place the cross hairs on the zero line vertical and horizontally, remove the boresighter . take the rifle to the range that setup should get you on Paper with the first shot and adjust for zero from there. Answer:	Take the magnetic end of the sighter, and place it on the end of your muzzle. Line it up with the sight of your scope, (i used a scope level on both the scope and the sighter.) On a steady vise or what ever you have. Now, once you see the sighter; start ajusting your windage and elevation. The center of the sighter is 50 yrds. Then next 3 lines are 100-300 yards. It gets you on paper, but you'll have to take it to the range. Just to make sure your spot on. I was 6" off to the left. And 2" off center.

Answer:	In the description it says it will fit a .22-.50 caliber, so I'm guessing it will work. I used it to sight in my .300 winmag and .50 muzzleloader and it worked surprising well. I sighted it in at approximately 20 yds first, then backed up for the final adjustments.

Answer:	I received two 3 packs of LR44 batteries which work for the red laser but no CR2's which work the green laser. The red laser works fine with the included LR44's, I had to to order CR2 batteries and they have not arrived yet so I can't tell you if they work and turn on the green laser.

Answer:	I here people say "It is not PURE stainless" or real stainless is not strong enough. Its a 416 stainless meaning it has carbon in it. It is ferrous. "Real" stainless or 300 series isn't magnetic at all. Gun manufacturers don't use it because it is gummy and does not hold shape as well. Its purpose is better suited for wear resistance on static non bearing surfaces. Remington found this out the hard way on their 1911 pistols.

The SL-100 uses the latest laser technology to provide superior boresighting accuracy. Super-strong magnets in the arbor securely centers the laser within the muzzle for consistent accuracy. A unique system of adapters and O-rings fit. 22 to 50 caliber handguns and rifles, 20 and 12 gauge shotguns and muzzleloaders. To boresight, level the scope with the included Scope Reticle Leveler and Leveling Target. Then input your specific rifle and ammo data into the included Ballistic Targeting System software program to create a custom laser boresighting target. Next, place the laser spot on the target, align your scope with the target crosshairs and you’re boresighted for up to 300 yards.

Answer:	Yes, this will work on your 5.56/.223 rifle if it is a flat top rifle. By flat top, I mean it does not have a scope mounted on the carry handle. If has a removable carry handle and you remove it and mount the scope without the handle it will work perfectly. The carry handle is the problem. If you have a scope mounted on the carry handle like I do on my A2, you will need a laser bore sighter, either the kind with the taper mount that sticks down the bore, or one that looks like a rifle round that fires the laser through the chamber and the bore. I used the laser that look like a rifle round to bore sight my A2 with the scope on the carry handle.
Question:	Will it work on a 270 and 243 rifle
Answer:	I just sighted in my 223/556 bolt and 308 bolt with it. I just need to get to the range and tweak it. So I'm confident 270 and 243 shouldn't be an issue. It has arbors from .177 to 50 cal

Answer:	If you have a clean path to the muzzle. They give you rubber bore adapters which seem to me to be slightly oversized. Didn’t work on either of my .177 air guns because the tail isn’t long enough to get past sound mitigators.

Answer:	Magnetically attaches to muzzle of any firearm= I did not do a mussel loader since it is magnetic it should. I did use it on my rifled barrels successfully.

Answer:	Yes, as long as it has a metal surface for the magnet to catch it works

Answer:	When the magnet "seats" into the barrel, it closes a circuit turning on the laser bore sight. As it requires a ferromagnetic barrel, it will NOT work on stainless steel barrels.
