Answer:	The holster should fit most full size pistols like a 1911. That being said, get a better holster. This holster doesn't have the right straps to keep it close to your body like a good shoulder holster does, especially with a heavy 1911. I rarely ever use the holster for that reason and wish I would have bought the type that goes over both shoulders and for lack of better comparison, fits sort of like a womans bra would over her shoulders. Those holsters would secure a 1911 nicely I think.

Answer:	This is a cheap holster that I tried to use with my Glock 19. The glock would never sit securely in the holster and felt as though it would fall out if I bent over. The G19 is lighter than the Windicator. I suggest you do as I eventually did and get a holster made specifically for your type of gun. It will cost more but will be worth it.

Answer:	The 16.9 oz (500 ml) plastic water bottle will fit very nicely, "snug." I have done that for hundreds of miles on 15 mile hikes, placing it on the front shoulder strap of my backpack. I don't think a smaller bottle will be the least bit "snug." On much longer treks, for convenience on week-long backpacking trip, I have used it for a 24 oz bottle (Gatorade with the handy twist and squirt top) also on the front of my shoulder strap: That is also a great "snug" fit. This is one of my favorite, most reliable pieces of equipment.
