Answer:	The upper strap is not removable, but trust me, you're going to want the upper strap so you maintain a firm attachment of holster to your leg. The holsters with only one strap slip and slide all over your leg. With smaller firearms it is possible to re-holster one handed, but larger firearms will require a two-handed re-holster. For quick draw organization and specification of your household items while not wanting to your spouse to notice you carrying a loaded label maker, then I would highly recommend this holster. However, the label maker would have to be a unique one in the shape of a firearm. Be careful in public though.... while your purely organizatonial intentions may be to quickly and discreetly slap a label on the outside of an opaque storage box, some may think you're about engage said opaque box with live ammunition, and they may draw a real firearm to defend the box and those around it. Let me know how it goes for you my friend. Post some review photos of your label maker holstered as well some of the engaged and highly organized targets once you've ordered. On the other hand, I may even recommend purchasing two ankle holsters. The other ankle holster could be used for a real firearm. Answer:	You must be kidding??? Unless your "shorts" go down to your ankle, of course it will not be concealed. The holster holds the weapon and makes it possible to be concealed, but your pant leg is what conceals the weapon.
