Answer:	I don't know if it is the intended design since they don't advertise it, but there are little holes in the side of the clasps that are the perfect size for the opposite clasp to fit in and lock into. I have used it that way as a one-point sling and it works pretty well for me. The clasps are all metal and seem strong enough to hold the gun individually. So, from my experience, yes. This can be a one-point. You also don't have that extra length of strap connecting the clasp to the main loop of the strap like you do on many dedicated one-point slings.
