Answer:	Yes, I wash mine in the dishwasher, even with heated drying. Since it is plastic, only put it on the top rack. Wash it with the knife end opened.

Answer:	In fact it was the cubing version i was looking for but couldn't get it then i bought the pl8 slicer via amazon in the beginning of 2016. From what i saw the cubing one got 1 more row of teeth that comes up by turning a knob more accurately it is 2 more sets of teeth located on the same 1 row, for bigger dice 1 set of teeth comes up n finer ones 2 sets comes up. To make dice one will 1). push as usual, 2). rotate the hand-guard 90 degree at the end of the deck the hand-guard shaped slightly different to incorporate a 90degree stopper, 3). then pull back. The cubing mandoline is lightly longer. There was an official demo video for the cubing one on the Progressive website but was later removed for some reason, but that video is still on youtube if you search. Other than that official video, by the beginning of 2016 there was already many review video for the PL8 slicer, but i could not find one for the cubing one.Hope the above is useful.

Answer:	the cubing is the only mandoline currently on the market with the ability to cube. All others only slice and julienne.

Answer:	No. you can slice cheese if it's really chilled. But grating and shredding? I'd use the conventional box grater.
