Answer:	These will definitely help! They won’t completely block the noise though. Also, they should fit small ears. They scrunch up to be really small.

Answer:	You will know when the time comes for replacement: difficult to put them into the ear, does not block the noise enough as you would like, etc... For me. on average, I replace them after 8 to 10 times usees.

Answer:	I got these ear plugs for prevention. I thought if I am exposed to loud noise, I could eventually hurt my ear drums. I don't think you want to block the smallest sounds. Think about it this way. You wear sun glasses to block the harmful rays or basically feel comfortable against bright lights. You don't want to cover your eyes because you won't see your surroundings. You want to have some awareness of your surroundings: noise, light, etc...
Question:	Are these ear plugs actually safe to use for shooting ? Because the box dont say and im noticing most of the reviews are not even for this product
Answer:	Online says a product with a 28 to 31 NRR is recommended for indoor shooting. This one is 32 NRR, well beyond the suggested range, so it's more than safe enough.

Answer:	Sorry I am not sure. I got large and they fit me great.

Question:	How do you determine if you need the triple-flange (ep4) or double-flange (ep3)? are these returnable if you get the wrong size
Answer:	The flange is for fit. I bought the large triple flange and it fit well on large (me) and medium (my son) ear canals very well. The top flange just seats a bit over the top of my ear and seats completely in his canal. am guessing double flange small for very small ear canals.
Question:	How do I know what size I need
Answer:	I had a hard time Guessing the size also, though I did some minor research into the item. In order to find the proper size for your ear you need to measure the "Concha Bowl" of your ear. Meaning the tip of the "bowl" (not the hole) in your ear this being large the concave area in the ear to the bottom of the same "bowl". PLEASE search the internet for a picture of the Concha Bowl. These are the size rules that I've found:If you have a small Concha Bowl and the height is less than 1 inch, buy a small. If you are close to 1" (meaning up to by approx 1mm) buy a Medium as this is more than 50% of the market, myself includedIf you have a larger Concha Bowl, Meaning just about anything over 1 inch, go Large. I do not have the Specs on the other sizes is they're still available. Now think of how deep your Ear canal is, this is the depth from the Concha Bowl through the "ear hole" or the deeper section of the ear. An EP3 two-flange system does not enter the ear as deep as the EP4's Three Flange. There is a large difference! You may not want your ear plug to box your ear drum. Rule for this is guess work sadly, I bought a Medium EP4 and it fits like a charm. But I've been told by others that if you are a Medium, Stick with the EP3. Only Larges are suggested to buy EP4's by the company. They're more comfortable and provide just about the same exact noise protection. Answer:	These ear plugs have noise reduction level of 32 decibels. They appear to have the highest noise reduction rating available on the market. There is a change in perception of how it sounds because of how the human ear works, even if the drop in noise is not all that significant. Relatively speaking, a normal conversation, however, is around 60-65 decibels.
Question:	Does anyone use these for sleeping? I am wondering if they are comfortable with multi-hour use, sleeping on the side, do they stay in all night, etc
Answer:	Yes, I've worn them for sleeping for a few years now due to noisy neighbors. They are comfortable with multi-hour use; sometimes a new pair can seem a bit large when first worn (hurting my ear a bit, but I have small ears). If this happens, I just pull them out a bit and all is well. And they do stay in all night if you insert them according to the directions on the package (pull ear up and back, roll the plug tightly and insert). I don't know what I'd do without these, they are a lifesaver as far as my sleep!
Question:	The jar says 50 pair but description says 50 count. Which is it
Answer:	50 pair ='s 100 individual units. To properly block sound, the average person needs two, a pair of earplugs, one for each ear, to be effective and block the sound. Always sold in pairs, like a pair of shoes, a pair of glasses (2 lenses, one frame), a pair of pants (2 legs, but one complete unit. I counted; my container had 51.5 pair (103 pieces).

Question:	exactly how waterproof are they? I want to use them for swimming, but I absolutely cannot get water in one of my ears
Answer:	In my experience the tightest fit is accomplished by using the foam plugs rather than the S,M,L rubber inserts. I would be worried they foam would actually allow water through the material itself. I use them for noise reduction so i can't say completely what your experience would be.
Question:	Would these work for someone who has Autism who needs to reduce the level of noise while out in crowds
Answer:	I use these earplugs several times per week, so I can say they definitely muffle harmful noise to a safe level. They will take the "edge" off of crowd noise, but I can't say whether they would be satisfactory for someone with Autism. The molding process for these plugs is relatively simple, and they feel secure in the ear... it's easy to forget they're in there.
Question:	Would these work for protection while shooting
Answer:	If the ear plugs are formed correctly they are great for outdoor shooting. I would hesitate to use them, without ear muffs, for indoor range work .
Question:	Do they contain any metal? Are they safe for an mri machine
Answer:	We haven't tested them with an MRI machine before but there are no metal or magnetic components to our earplugs.

The “latex” in our foam earplugs is not natural latex, it is a synthetic latex technically called an emulsion polymer. Answer:	Noise Reduction Rating. This product works good for firearms for me. I know 31 to 33 is a good nrr rating, I have no idea what these rate at. I bought these because I can put them around my neck when needed, and good price for so many. I hope this helps with your questions

Titan Tactical's 29 NRR are one of the only removable filtered ear plugs available on the market that are designed for shooting. They protect your hearing without interfering with your ability to hear routine sounds or conversations. Their triple flanged-stem design fits most people and provides a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 29dB. Sounds, at safe levels, are allowed to pass through into the ear canal, while potentially harmful noises (above 85dB) are reduced via a proprietary design that incorporates a special easily removable high-impact noise-reducing filter. This high-impact filter in the stem of the ear plug acts like a trampoline for noises that occur with more force than regular sounds, thus making these earplugs an effective hearing protection solution for military, tactical law enforcement, hunters, gun range shooters, event shooting, construction, manufacturing, and maintenance applications.

Our bodies absorb sound, so while no hearing protection can block out all noise, when worn according to directions, these earplugs provide 32 decibels of noise reduction, bringing noise down to a lower, safer level. We always recommend doubling up by wearing earplugs AND earmuffs together to maximize hearing protection, especially for indoor shooting which causes higher noise levels. Question:	Can you lay sideways against your pillow without the plug pushing in further and causing discomfort
Answer:	No they would not be good for trying to sleep in. These plugs are just used for hearing protection.

Answer:	I can not give you specific scientific data but I do a lot of shooting and these work as well as the muffs I have. I can not use the muffs when shooting rifle, they get in my way but the ear plugs work well .

Answer:	They are soft and don't hurt my ears. I have small ears and they work fine for me. They don't fall out like some do.

Answer:	Yes can use for guns. The db reduction for ear plugs is greater than any muffs that I found. Use both together would be added protection.

Answer:	I was using them yesterday when I was target shooting. they really wok great. I had a hard time hearing people talking to me or hearing if the bullet hit the steel target. I removed the insert, and it was better, at least I could hear the report of the bullet hitting the metal target. Still felt like voices were still a bit muffled. Yes it feels like your ears are plugged, but isn't that the objective to block sound by restricting the ear canal?
