Answer:	You can fit them under an ACH, if you loosen up your helmet straps and it sits on top of your head. I would not advise it as it may mess up the ballistic protection, it will make you uncomfortable within 30 minutes, and most importantly, it will make you look like a giant dork.

Answer:	These are just a headband model. Believe me, if you take the earmuff clips off the headband ,its a ton of frustration to get back on. Took me a while to figure out how to put them back on.

My grandchildren have worn these, so I imagine your fit will be fine, even with a small head. Earrings? I don't wear any. The space inside the muff is small, so if you have elephant (or LBJ) ears, earrings will be uncomfortable. BTW, best "attack time" available. If you are serious about hearing protection, forget the others.

Answer:	Not unless it is far away. It blocks enough noise so that your hearing isn't damaged if you use power tools, etc., but you can still hear what people are saying when you have them on. If the idea is to wear them when sleeping to block out noise, it might mostly do that but would be really uncomfortable. If that's the objective, I'd get a noise machine or a loud fan.

Answer:	Short answer is yes. It will block out 20 dB of the sound. 80 dB is about as loud as an average vacuum cleaner. Take off 28 dB and you would still hear the equivalent of loud speech. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Yes. The product states any noise over 85dbs will activate the headphones. The average wife nagging levels range from 87dbs to 120dbs (in extreme circumstances). Unfortunately this will also blockout the t.v. until the nagging stops. Reducing the wife nagging time ( or WNT) can be reduced by simply nodding and stating “yes dear” in a calm and clear voice.

Answer:	The package comes with a 39 inch connecting cord, with a 3.5 mm jack on both ends. These are the standard earphone jacks, and it plugs right into my ipod and the earphone jack on my Midland GXT-1000 GMRS/FRS two-way radios. I listen to music while I mow the lawn. As long as you turn on the earmuffs, but keep the volume level at its lowest, you can hear music without the microphones picking up ambient noise.

Answer:	I've used mine for yard care and with them on they block out the noise of a lawnmower, weed-eater, edger and leaf blower(with or without having the power turned on). They work great and turned on they allow you to hear what's going on around you like traffic on the street, someone trying to get your attention or a dog coming up to you. All without letting the noise of whatever lawn equipment your using bothering you or interfering. The headphone jack is 3.5mm which is your normal headphone jack size.

Answer:	If the batteries die or you leave them on and forget(as I have done) They will function as regular ear protection but they will lose the ability to amplify regular sounds. Answer:	While I did not have to pay for them, I teach firearms for a living and wear "ear pro" as we call it daily, thats why they asked me to look at them.
