Answer:	Walker's Silencer use zinc air "HEARING AID" batteries. These batteries are activated once you remove the sticker and they are exposed to oxygen. Please allow them to sit for one minute for proper activation before inserting them into the Silencer. Once the batteries are activated they are continuously running (draining). You can conserve power by opening the Silencer battery door when not in use. Life expectancy of the hearing aid batteries vary depending on the amount of time used in the Silencer. #10A batteries have a lifespan of 3-7 days average based on use.

I contacted Letscom about how to improve the microphone and this was their reply, "We are sorry that your device isn't working as anticipated. U8I is designed for sports rather than talking on the phone. I would suggest to hold the one of the earbuds closer to her mouth to use as micphone mainly while speaking on the phone. Answer:	My S.O. snores rather loud and I simply use ear plugs (there are actually several varieties out there that reduce 34db as well) so I can comfortably move around as needed. I wouldn't get these for sleeping.
Question:	Is there any protection if the batteries die on you in the field/range? I.E. What happens to noises above the 82dB range with no batteries
Answer:	They were very comfortable wearing them for 8-10 hrs a day for about 6 months. Around that time I noticed they started to become very uncomfortable. Turns out the bottom half of the cushions go from very soft when new to very hard due to skin oils. I found a 3M manufacturer with this explanation. Can't imagine why this sort of defect hasn't been resolved for ear muffs in general, but since I have to wear them to continue working from home with toddlers I'll just be ordering another pair and try to keep them a little cleaner I guess. Maybe that will extend their life before I have to replace them.

Answer:	Yes, greatly-muffled sound but you'll still hear, especially loud and abrasive noises. You'll still be able to hear the smoke detector going off, etc.

Answer:	I couldn’t find and I haven’t tried yet.... and I won’t go diving or swimming with it...... but I used them in hard rain ..... they can take a lot...... the case though is waterproof for transport...... I would go with splash/rain/weatherproof use them for work all time (military/outdoors a lot)

Question:	A lot of the reviews mention shooting; how do these do with continuous noise, i.e. lawnmower, tractor, splitter, woodworking, industrial, etc
Answer:	I have used the TEP-200s for both problem sets. In terms of noise reduction, coupled with the 3M Ear Screw foam tips, they exceed the performance of most over the ear systems available at an advertised 30 db reduction. That remains true between the two scenarios. However, you do sacrifice quality in noise amplification, with a distinct "tinny" nature, and some brief squealing with different pitches. However for practical use, I find the performance satisfactory. As someone with a degree of hearing loss, I do find it easier to hear my partner at a lower degree of amplification with over the ear systems, than I do with these at the same sound setting. In terms of long term comfort. This is fairly nuanced and dependent on the user. I abhor over the ear systems mostly, thus my use of the TEP-200. I do find achieving an optimal fit much more intensive with the TEPS, and have found with vigorous movement, lots of discourse, and time, the buds shift, and in occasion have resulted in a reduction of noise attenuation. I can't recall if I have ever lost a bud, and don't believe I have. After a few hours, my ear canals do become extremely itchy, and I do notice soreness in the ear after extended use and multiple days in a row with use. There is also the consideration of hygiene, and the pretty profound increase in intra-ear bacteria that results from in-ear bud use. I hope these thoughts have been helpful.

Answer:	After working the bag onto the mounting, there are velcro tabs on each side that you secure it with. Mine were stuck together, making it difficult to see what they were. Just pull the velcro apart and wrap around the upright bars on each side just above the mounting frame.

Question:	How do I pair it with my phone
Answer:	I don't remember the precise steps but I had no problem following the directions and it connected easily, and pairs every time I turn it on very quickly.
Question:	Can I plug my phone into them to use shot timer apps
Answer:	The one I have no. They do make a bluetooth compatable one
Question:	If you wear muffs over these, are the mics covered or are the mics on the neck part
Answer:	You would not want to wear ear muffs over these. The ear buds actually work better than muffs for protecting your hearing.
Question:	what is the level of amplification
Answer:	It varies. There are buttons on the neck band that lets you adjust the volume up and down. I've been a Range Safety Officer and Instructor for ten years. I have numerous electronic hearing protection. This is, by far, the best I have used.

Question:	Are they good for indoor ranges
Answer:	These are great for concerts, outdoor ranges with pistol caliber and hunting. It's ok to have one or two excessive blasts outside while hunting so these are ok for that even with large caliber. Honestly do yourself a favor and buy over the ear active hearing protection first. I find that sometimes it's so loud at the range that is use a 15dB earplug alongside active over the ear protection. I just turn the volume all the way up so I can still hear people talk. Over ear is a cheap way to get introduced to active protection. I use my in ear active for concerts, loud pool halls, bowling alleys, and other places where I would like like a complete fool with over ear protection. I use my over ear active for mowing, shooting, and sawing.
Question:	Do these allow you to hear talk during gunfire, or do they "mute" everything during blasts
Answer:	They allow you to hear talking during gun fire. I am an instructor for pistol and rifle, centerfire and rimfire four weekends a months and I basically put them in my ears at the beginning of the class and leave them in all the through the classes until we call the ranges cold and closed. I literally do not take them out. I talk behind the line, at the firing line, at the classroom area, down range reading the targets, during lunch and so on. All my training classes are outdoors so apply my comments to out door ranges. I can hear students while they the line is hot, while we are in the dirt with 20 others in cadence and on.
Question:	Would the GSP15 be good at the (auto) racetrack in the paddock around machinery and in the pits during races

Answer:	The NRR is 25. Remember this is the scale rated over an 8 hour day in noise for the adaptive compression only. The blast suppression is 40dB.

Question:	What is the difference between the silencer bt 2.0 and the silencer
Answer:	I don't know specifically but it's high enough to be annoying. When shooting alone small sounds like flag pole turnbuckle tapping the aluminium pole is iterating. Shooting in larger groups requires turning them down. In short although I don't know specifically what the amplification is its far greater than the other three brands I have owned. Also changing the batteries is fast and simple.
Question:	Can you play music through these or is the bluetooth strictly for sound control app
Answer:	yep. and while the sound level is dependent on your device, the ambient noise amplification is independently controlled by the earmuff volume control.
Question:	Will these connect to a BT Motorola radio
Answer:	No

Answer:	yes but just passive noise reduction. Batteries will last a long time and it turns itself off if you forget to do so.
