Answer:	Mine just came as 10 loose blades wrapped in plastic. Makes me question if these may be knock off blades. I am all for reduced packaging but would think this would be stated in ad and not be answered as 2 retail packs of 5 in the questions.

Question:	Is the blade held firmly in place or does it move around while cutting thick carboard or other heavy items
Answer:	This is actually a great feature of the knife. When clipped in my right pants pocket, I tuck it all the way to the right on my hip. This prevents the blade from opening at all since there is no space to do so and allows for a quick draw and opening of the knife, without having to reverse the knife. When grabbing out of a pocket, your thumb is basically on the opening assist which allows for a quick opening. I can't think of a way to cut yourself or open inadvertently when carried like I do. The curve of the bottom of the handle is ideal for getting your hand in and out of the carrying pocket; there are no sharp ends and it basically guides your hand down into the pocket. The blade is on the other side of the handle so you are protected by the back of the handle; the blade opens the other way. The blade opening is pressed against the side of the pocket and your hand does not touch that side of the closed knife. There is a light spring that keeps the knife closed, but the tip could open slightly and catch a hand if you don't clip it to the top of a pocket (i.e. carry in bottom of pocket). I prefer a light spring in this scenario because it makes it easier to open. I love how light weight this knife is and it is also paper slicing sharp on arrival. Order extra blades and never worry about a dull blade. It comes with extras, but who wants to ever run out?

Answer:	Unfortunately, this knife is not considered to be OSHA compliant as it does not include a spring loaded feature. According to OSHA the knife must contain a spring loaded feature to be compliant. This knife does however feature a safety lock for extra security.

Answer:	Yes. Blade slides into outer shell made of metal. As long as you don't try to use it as a weapon it is very safe.

Answer:	With the cutting edge retracted just enough to fit inside the housing, the length is 4 inches. But you could also pull the blade farther into the housing in which case it would be longer. And, of course, the blade holder comes out so you can replace the single edge "standard" razor blades.

Answer:	Yes, only a corner of the blade is exposed. Single edge razor blades are flimsy, so the remainder of the blade holder is for blade stability and safety. Once the blade gets dull, you can turn it around and use the other corner that is still sharp. To add, turn or change blade, CAREFULLY slide outer metal sleeve off (it will only slide off one end) and you will see where blades slide in. Again carefully, slide metal sleeve back over the assembly and slide other way to expose the cutting edge. Be sure to slide sleeve back over the blade when finished. An "old school" experienced grocery man at your local market can show you how to use this, change blades, etc. (Nowadays they have to use some sort of OSHA approved cutter, but the older guys will know how to use these)

Answer:	I believe there are 2 blades and they are inside the knife, you have to unscrew it to find them and install one

Answer:	use phillips head screwdriver to unscrew knife, remove top half of knife, place new blade into removable tray by sliding top of blade up and under the metal tabs so blad lays flat. Replace top half of knife and use screwdriver to screw knife halves together.

Question:	How do you dispose of the used blades
Answer:	I saw it say to hand wash and that is what I did. It is easy to just rinse off after use. One thing to note is there is an end cap. It doesn't look like a one-piece device and may take on water if put in a dishwasher. It feels hollow and light, but is really strong. I highly recommend it.
Question:	Does the razor-lite replacement blades fit the razor blaze and what's the difference
Answer:	Yes, Ice Cream doesn't stick to it when emptying it into bowl or cone!
