I think cool knives are not a matter of “is it really worth it?” or “I’m on a budget” type of hobby - you buy them because you like knives and have the means to comfortably fit in your budget.

Answer:	You pull the blade out and it locks into place. I did read some reviews that a wrist flick could also open the blade into a locked position. I returned the knife because a found it too difficult to safely close the knife. The release on the locking mechanism is awkward.

Answer:	Yes. They need to pull that sheath bundle option down. It comes with a very nice Mexican-made sheath. Mexican sheaths are known for the highest hide quality, thickness, craftsmanship. You'll see.
Question:	Is this a full tang knife? Meaning, does the blade goes all the way through the handle? Thanks
Answer:	No, this is not a true full tang knife. It has a rat tail tang, meaning it extends the full length of the handle but not even close to the full width, significantly reducing the structural durability. Be warned, this is not a bushcraft knife. This is a combat knife. It was meant for combat, not chopping down trees and processing wood. If you put it through that, don't be surprised when (not if) it breaks. Excellent design for combat use though. I'd take it to Iraq, but not the woods.
Question:	Are all Ka-Bar's stamped with USMC? Having never served I would not feel right purchasing one with a logo. It would be disrespectful in my eyes
Answer:	I served in the USN during Gulf War / Operation Desert Shield /Storm . I have one of these with the USMC stamp . I’m getting ready to purchase another . Such a great knife !!! Proud to of served in the USN and proud to own this Kabar 1217 with the USMC honor stamp . It’s all good brother !! ( and to whoever else might have the same thought ).

Answer:	I bought them for myself actually. I’m in my 40’s I have a small face so kid sizes fit me better but they do fit my teenagers and even my 8yr old. I would probably look for a toddler size, but at least if you go with these you know they will last a while.
