Question: | i've seen that some come with a cordura nylon sheath instead on a leather sheath so which sheath does it come with? because i want a leather sheath |
Answer: | I think they pretty much fit any utility knife. |
Question: | doe!s this knife come with a leather shieth |
Answer: | I mean, they are dual sided box cutter blades made from a bit thicker, stronger, and less chipable metal. If ur asking if u can use ur ceramic/ glass stove top as the surface area to cut ontop of without leaving cut marks, no i dont think that will work. However, if u take a flattened cereal box n put it between whatever ur cutting n ur ceramic/ glass stove top; this will work! That is, as long as ur not forcing all ur weight down on the blade, as ur cutting. |
Question: | Is the blade full tang |
Answer: | They'll fit in the Gerber but will likely be a bit loose. The only blade I've found that works properly in the Gerber EAB Lite is the Stanley 11-931. |
Question: | most important question of all. is this badass made in the good ol' US n A |
Answer: | No the knife does not float. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Not a question, but a fault I see, the knife pictured in it's sheath is not the 0120, looks like a much smaller one, 0102 woodsman I think. Mixup |
Answer: | I just ordered this assortment pack and got 3 tingles. I hate tingle ones but unfortunately you can't request that they dont send you tingle ones. |
Question: | Is it a real buck knife |
Answer: | It’s not a self tanner, but has a booster that gives you a darker tan |
Question: | I have several buck knifes . I am left handed , is there any chance you might have left handed sheaths |
Answer: | There maybe 1 kind or 2 at most of hot/tingles in this lot. Most don't like tingles, so we have limited them. Hope this helps. Star |
Question: | Is the Buck 120 General really back in full time production? Or is this just a special limited run |
Answer: | I would say yes, but it is not very stable. My cat has never gotten on the top of it because it wobbles when she tries. She love the hole in the bottom, though. She is an average sized cat, so it might be a tight squeeze for a larger than average cat. It also sheds quite a bit. |

It all began with the 110 Folding Hunter. The 110 could be found on a lot of sailor's belts in the Navy. One day, a couple of soldiers got into a fight and the 110 Folding Hunter was used. As a result, the captain issued a decree that knives carried could not have a blade length of a certain size. The 110 ended up being too long, so Buck Knives took the initiative and created the Ranger, a smaller version of the 110. The 112 is another traditional favorite. Length 4 1/4" closed. Made in the USA
- RAZOR SHARP CLIP POINT BLADE - 3" 420HC steel clip blade has great edge retention and corrosion resistance. The Clip blade has a very sharp controllable point, and is good for piercing and slicing. Closed length 4-1/4" Weight 5.6 oz.

- CLASSIC & COMPACT for EVERYDAY CARRY -The 112 Ranger is a mini version of the renowned 110 Folding Hunter. This knife comes with a Genuine Leather Sheath for safe and secure transportation on your belt or in your bag
- MADE IN THE USA - FOREVER WARRANTY - Since 1902 Buck Knives has offered a lifetime warranty on our knives because we believe in the integrity of our products. This knife is proudly made in the USA
User questions & answers
Question: | does this come with the leather pouch |
Answer: | Yes it does. A black leather holster. |
Question: | how much smaller is the 112 than the 110 when opened |
Answer: | there are some pictures of all 3 sizes lined up so you can see the differences. I would say its 2 inches small than the 110 when opened. Its a good size to just keep in your pocked if you don't like the side belt mount. |
Question: | what is the closed length |
Answer: | The Buck 112 is 4 1/4" long closed. I also have a Buck 503 that is 3 7/16" long closed. |
Question: | Can someone who has ordered this knife recently verify the country of manufacture? Thank you |
Answer: | Buck Knifes are great products but not all Buck Knifes are made in the USA. I have a 40 year old 112 Ranger that was made in America and these are as well. But the folks that have saying "all Buck Knifes are made in the USA" are sadly wrong. |

Buck’s Folding Hunter was created in 1963 when Al Buck decided that a revolutionary folding lockblade knife was needed by outdoorsmen who wanted a sturdy knife but did not want to carry a long fixed-blade knife. He was right and the result proved to be the key to the company’s future.
The 110FG Folding Hunter is Buck's finger grooved version of the classic 110 Folder. The signature 110 was created by Buck fifty years ago in 1962, with a now classic nail notch lockback design that has been one of the knife industries most imitated features. The 110FG features a 3.75-inch clip point blade of 420HC stainless steel. The blade is enclosed within natural woodgrain handles with polished brass bolsters. It measures 4-7/8 inches long closed, weighs 7.2 ounces, and comes with a black leather sheath. As with all Buck Knives, the 110 comes with Buck's 4-Ever Unconditional Lifetime Warranty.

User questions & answers
Question: | Hi there, can you tell me what year stamp is the knife on the blade |
Answer: | Closed it is 3 3/8 inches. The blade itself is 2 3/8 inches. This is the smaller of the series. There is also a Buck 112 that is slightly smaller than its big brother, the 110. |
Question: | Does this one come with a brown sheath? I already have 3 110's. I just want a brown sheath which is $29 alone . It'd only be $17½ more for the FG |
Answer: | This is by far the easiest, and it's also very inexpensive and portable. Impossible to make a mistake with something like this--just pull the knife through a few times. There are obviously better ways of sharpening (stones, strops, etc), but this a great way to get the job done fast.http://www.amazon.com/Smiths-PP1-Pocket-Multifunction-Sharpener/dp/B000O8OTNC/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1416348764&sr=8-4&keywords=knife+sharpener |
Question: | are these blades detashable to install a different blade |
Answer: | 0.150" |
Question: | Are the finger grooves a plus or a negative |
Answer: | 0.150 Inches |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is it thick enough to baton with |
Answer: | Cannot imagine that you would not be able to baton with this knife. You can damn sure baton with a Buck 119 or 120 (which I have done for decades - with the 120), for less cost and a far longer proven track record. You can also baton with a Morakniv (and not even the HD models), for under $20, all week long (which I have done, and still do). You can also baton all day long with a KA-BAR BK7 / BK10 / BK2 / etc., also something I've done with each, for the same cost, and usually cheaper. So if this delicate little hothouse flower truly cannot be used to baton as these folks have responded (and I'm not sure that's accurate), then it's best left as a poser piece to those weekend warriors, wannabes, and geardos who stick this to the MOLLE of their store-bought 5.11s and then do nothing else. |
Question: | Does this knife have a 90° spine |
Answer: | Yes, the spine is at a 90 degree angle. It can be used with a ferro striker (not included) |
Question: | Does this knife have a 90° spine |
Answer: | I don't know what a 90 degree spine is. |
Question: | Does this knife have a hollow grind? Thank you |
Answer: | No, not a hollow grind. It's a flat grind or possibly slightly convex. Ive never looked really really close at it. |

User questions & answers
Question: | How long is the blade |
Answer: | 3 inches |
Question: | How do you close it |
Answer: | It is a liner lock. On the belly or bottom of the handle (sharpened blade edge pointing up), you will see a metal liner that stops the blade from folding. With your thumb, press that liner from right to left toward the handle and slowly close the blade into the handle. Be sure to not have your fingers in the space between the handle as you may cut yourself if you do. |
Question: | Is this Spring assisted |
Answer: | This knife is not spring assisted. It utilizes ball bearing technology at the blade pivot to make for quick deployment of the blade after a flick of the flipper. |
