| Answer: | They are good if your deer aren't real skidish. I have just rattled in two mature bucks with these while bowhunting. The advantage is it gives the deer a focus point, and if in the proper position, might put your target in the right spot for a shot. The disadvantage is that I have had deer blow at them. This has happened when they come in downwind. Either way, don't expect a mature buck to hang around long after he checks them out. The two bucks that came to them after I rattled gave them about a 30-45 second review before backing off. Long enough for a rifle shot, but dicey with a bow. These decoys can be effective if used properly. |

Mine fit together so poorly I had to drive a stake in the ground and drill a hole in the top of the decoy to screw it to the stake. Now it is stable in high wind and I can rotate it 360 degrees. |
