Answer:	You would be way better off to order direct from foxpro like I did. If u do, u can get the custom sound list u prefer. Way better!

Question:	Are the sounds on a tape where you have to change them or is it all onthe remote
Answer:	You can change all the sounds by the remote and there all labled too. Its digital so no tape. It has its own timer and plays for 5 min then pauses for a short time before it goes again. Its fairly loud as is but it has a jack to add an extra speaker if you want. Great item for the price.

Answer:	The speaker diameter is approx. 3-1/4-inches. I "called" last winter at about 100-yards; the call sounds are clean and the remote unit works surprisingly well at that distance. One nice feature is the unit will pause it's calls at intervals you might expect from prey; calls/cries are not at a constant rate.

Answer:	I tested my My Outlaw on the farm and i swear to God i could not find its limit. I was behind my barns. silo and back in the woods at the very least 500 yards with the controler and the call was in the house and my girlfriend was on the phone with me as she placed it all over the house including in a dresser drawer and i had 100% control of the caller. I could not believe it myself. Great freaking call. I tried $450 Fox Pro's and couldnt get 50 yards out of them. I need the yardage and IcoTech delivered. And honestly i woulda been happy at 300 yards but it far exceeded that. I would buy it again...In fact i did. I bought a 350 to really help bring in the dogs with some separation in the sounds for a realistic set. If u cant get the range u need to call Customer Service. I had talked to them a couple times prior to buying.

ICOtec GC500 Remote Keypad Layout

The ICOtec GC500 remote control was designed to be able to use with little confusion. The night light button is on the top right. The play and stop buttons are located in the center of the keypad. The favorites button is located on the left hand side of the keypad and can display up to six preset sounds for instant recall. The channel up and down and volume up and down are located at the bottom of the keypad.

The GC500 remote control displays six rows of sound call files with a three digit number at the beginning of the file name. If you make changes to your call list within the GC500 unit/SD card, you will need to be sure that you have assigned a three digit number to your new sounds files so that they may be read by the unit.

Also located on the screen is a battery level indicator on the top left of the screen, the sound that is currently playing or the sound that was last activated if the sound have been stopped and the volume level is located on the bottom right of the screen. The volume steps are from 0-7.

ICOtec GC500 Remote Control Night Light

The GC500 features a red back light for the buttons and the screen for your convenience. There is a small button on the upper right side of the front keypad to activate the light. The light has a 6 second delay timer so you will need to select your new sound, stop or change your volume within 6 seconds of activating the light, or it will go off automatically. The light will stay on as long as your button presses are within 6 seconds of one another.

Question:	Can I record my own calls on this unit
Answer:	This call does not come with a fawn in distress call on it. I have had some luck with this call but not in large open fields etc. just not loud enough. I have killed coyotes & bobcat when used in small stands of tree's or tree lines. I had to buy a larger remote controlled predator unit for fields etc. but I always keep this small unit in my pack. I hope this helps.

Answer:	seems to be plenty loud enough, I hunt in broken scrub, so just don't have any info about using this in big timber.

Answer:	Yes, I have called in coyotes, bobcat, & fox using this call. The thing is, this call is more effective hunting small open fields with some tree line on the perimeter, or sitting in the tree line itself. This is not a very effective call if you plan to hunt large open fields, or on real windy days due to the volume restriction. This is a very effective call if used correctly. Answer:	It distorts if you set it to loudly. I would say it's not going to be perfect but it will do in a pinch. I purchased it to use for practicing my calls. Some states prohibit electronic calls, check your local laws before using it on a hunt.
