I did not notice any discoloring of the block. I think that the purpose of the vinegar is to lift paint (or whatever the substance) on to the swab - which it necessary to effectuate the testing process. Therefore, I would suggest that you try a cotton swab w/ vinegar and see if the area is affected. |
