Answer:	I have the FTC Deluxe model and have used it a few times with great success. Never seen an FTC version, my guess is it's an older model, maybe has less coating on the wire or smaller gauge wire for the trap. Openings seem to be the same. DLX version has what appears to be glow in the dark plastic on the hinges of the doors. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Answer:	Attach to rod, fill with bait, throw it out for 3-15 minutes and pull in... there are plenty of YouTube videos showing how to use a crab snare and is where I learned how to use it.

Answer:	They appear to be foam filled. We use one to keep our dinghy line out of the prop area on our larger boat when we tow the dinghy. It has worked well for us. Lot's of floatation.They appear to be foam filled.

Answer:	No. I had to use 3/4 for main beam then used a T that stepped down to 1/2. Been running for a year or so. No issues.

Answer:	I use #2 hook usually 1/8 ounce weight. I like prefer lighter the better.Just enough weigh to make good casts and retrieves The slower a bait falls more fish will react to it. Sometime lighter I don't get hung as much on the bottom.

Answer:	I am not sure how much each of the leads weigh. Unless it is a ripping current, it is enough to close the gate after a crab crawls in. You can do the same thing by getting large rubber core sinkers, opening them up and clamping them onto the gates that came with your Danielson. These pots are better for short soaks as after a while, the crab are smart enough to figure out how the gates work and will bail out.
