Answer:	Great question! The answer is that it's safer without the seatbelt. We (I work at Razor) had a seatbelt on the first version of the Cart (red chassis), but started to see videos of kids spinning fast, letting go of the steering and leaning out of the carts' triangle of stability (the triangle between the 3 wheels), and tipping the entire cart over because they have a seatbelt on that is strapping them to the cart - a.k.a. NOT a good situation! As such, we did a bunch of testing and found that it's actually safer if a rider can get freely off/away from the cart.
