FISHING SUGGESTIONS

Trolling - Troll at speeds of 2-3mph behind a boat from a downrigger, deep diver device or by adding fishing weights to the line. This lure can also be deadly six feet behind a flasher or dodger.

Casting - Cast the CJ lure by itself, or by adding additional fishing weights to the line and retrieving. Vary retrieve speed for differing desired lure actions.

Jigging & Ice Fishing Drop the CJ to your desired depth and "jig" by raising your rod tip in a fast 1-3 foot vertical motion. Allow the lure to free fall for 2-3 seconds before repeating. Answer:	Use a 1/4 oz slow yo yo retrieve. Replace back hook woth a spinner blade and front hook with a red treble. Youll get something. Otherwise never throw smaller than 1\2 oz.

Question:	Why the difference in price between colors
Answer:	Popularity. I have multiple different colors. Each one works differently with seasons, water color, and temperature
Question:	Where on the lure do u tie ur line or swivel
Answer:	You tie in where the A frame comes together at an angle. It's not a closed loop but there is a small bend that will hold steady. Good lure. Give it a try.
Question:	Is it suitable for panfish and tilapia? What is the hook size
Answer:	Absolutely not. I tried it. Waste of money. The hook is simply too large for most panfish and similar. These are far better suited for bass and other similar large, easy to catch, fish.
Question:	Will the craw colored bait work good in a creek
Answer:	Depends on the creek but I believe the natural color will work quite well if its got clear water conditions. I've used it in the New River along the NC/VA border (which is relatively shallow, pretty rocky, and the water is usually quite clear) several times and those smallmouth sure love it. If you're fishing a more stained water creek I'd recommend going with the white or fire bug color. Hope this helps, take care.

Answer:	These work best for bass. Both smallmouth and largemouth. You can rig them with a tube jig or Texas rig on a 4O EWG hook to go weedless.

Answer:	You can add whatever size you prefer, but I think I used # 1 with Berkley sickfish. Can be used fresh or salt, however once done in saltwater rinse the rig off with frashwater.

Answer:	Sometimes the images get misplaced. You should be getting a perch one.

Answer:	Not sure of the actual weight of this lure but it is made from balsa wood so it is pretty light. The number 5 is 2 inches long so you will need spinning tackle and light line to get any distance throwing it. It has a high buoyance so it's great for working it on the surface.

Answer:	approximately 1.5 inches. Great universal lure. I would go to an f11 for night time walleyes, but this lure for a bottom bouncing rig.
