Remember that this bench is designed to have 1 set of legs inside the tub and 1 set of legs outside the tub. My husband is an amputee so it makes it extremely easy for him to sit outside the tub and then just slide over to the section in the tub to shower. When he is finished he just slides over to the outer bench to towel off. I have purchased this seat for my nephew who is also an amputee and he also loves it.
