Answer:	no it comes with floating line and there was no weights or hooks. had your reel line , and some leader line of about 4 foot worth the pole seams pretty good, but the reel seams a little bit touchy .. i have never used a fly rod before and felt that for for the price i could not go wrong . i just stared to learn this year and i am just getting the hang of casting so far i think the combo kit is a good buy .... but like i said this is my first year and i don't know much about fly rods or the reels... will i hope this helped you... good luck gene

Answer:	Not sure about the weight. It is a little stiff and not all that light but it is serviceable and my nephews learned to do some decent casting with flies on the rods. For the money I think it's a good deal.

TFO’s no-fault lifetime warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accidents, abuse or broken guides; however, for a fee TFO does provide thorough and timely product repairs.

Answer:	I called the folks at TFO and that is by design. I am not the best person to tell you why technically, but you call TFO and they will be happy to explain. I can tell you that the rod works great.

Answer:	I got the 9', I fish alot but this is my only fly setup so I don't have much of a comparison to fly gear, however the rod itself is very nice. The reel is cheap, but again I haven't fished a $300 fly reel. This isn't unusable by any means like some cheap gear. So for my first fly rod it has worked well.

Answer:	I would say fast-action. It's got a pretty stiff spine. I took the 9wt and 7wt to Mexico last week. They both cast very well, and I was throwing 1/0 clousers 100' with the 9wt. Talk about a shoulder workout. It's heavy and not something you'll want to cast all-day, but is perfect for those "pick-and-choose" specifically targeted casts. Had no problem handling Sierras and green jacks.
Question:	what is a 6wt fly rod for(fish wise
Answer:	The weight of fly fishing lines ranges from 1 to 12. All fly line manufacturers weigh their lines in grains (14 grains in a gram). Since the US does not use the metric system, lines are numbered instead. The higher the number, the heavier the fly line. A heavier fly line casts farther, while sacrificing delicacy of presentation. A 5 or 6 weight system is good for trout and panfish on creeks and rivers. I like a 3 or 4-weight system for smaller creeks and lighter tippets, or for very wary trout on larger streams where a light tippet and small fly are required. Lines in the 7-8 weight range are good for bass, steelhead and salmon. I also like a 7-weight when long casts into lakes or ponds are needed. Weights in the 9 to 12 range are usually best for saltwater fishing or for trophy freshwater fish. Another determinant of fly line weight is the size of the fly you are using. It's hard to throw a large, weighted streamer with a light line, and it's very challenging to cast a tiny mayfly imitation delicately with a heavy line. For general trout fishing, most fishermen opt for a 5 or 6-weight system. If you will be casting a lot of flies size 18 or smaller and want to buy one rod for general fishing, consider a 4 or 5-weight line. If you will be casting into the wind a lot on larger streams or rivers, a 6-weight might be a better choice.
