Question:	I'll sent my drag to nice happy medium. As I'm fishing, stripping line, reeling some in, the drag loosens completely. Anyone else have this problem
Answer:	I have used the 3/4 wt size for the majority of 2019 on my Euro Nymph rig and have experienced this as well. As recently as September 19. I have also had the drag knob seize up as a result of trying to tighten when it did happen. I thought I was going to have to send it in but finally managed to break it free. I'm not sure if the drag itself is loosening or the fact that the drag is not sealed and when it gets wet/damp, it doesn't have the same tension.

Answer:	The sound is ok. The volume control in not very good. It doesn’t play at low volume very well. I would not recommend this radio.

Answer:	From what I have bee n able to find out, the state of California has a list of about 900 chemicals that cannot be discharged into their waterways because they may cause cancer, etc., or they do cause cancer, etc. Their law is Prop 65. My personal feeling is that I would rather avoid items . I would LOVE to know about this myself. Sorry, this is not much of an answer. Best I can do.

Question:	I received mine today and spent a while putting on backing and line, did anyone's spool move back and forth a bit and wiggle
Answer:	Wiggle? On the front side, by the winding handle, is a round thing. The sides of it are "textured" for a finger hold. Tighten it a bit, but, only FIRMLY (no pliers) and the "wiggle" should stop! The spool is probably loose!
Question:	Would this reel be usable with 12-20lb braid for salmon
Answer:	Yes, with the right weight real, itwould be fine.
Question:	Can you use in saltwater
Answer:	You can actually use just about any freshwater fly fishing reel if you take care of it during and after your fishing in salt-water. I live in Kentucky and get to fish the salt several times a year. Between days fishing in saltwater I submerge the entire reel (with line and backing in place) in a 5-gallon bucket of fresh water (changing the water daily). Then when I go back home I leave the reels in the bucket and cover it with the lid. When I get home I remove all the line and backing and wash them in warm soapy water, rinse them, let them dry while I disassemble and thoroughly clean the reels themselves. Yes ... I disassemble even the drag systems. You MUST remove all hint of salt residue (or it will eventually corrode whatever parts it is on). I lubricate them before reassembly and then wind the now completely dry backing and line ... before winding the line on I pull it through a rag soaked with Armor-All or STP Son of a Gun and buff it dry by pulling it through another soft cotton rag. Then I put a fresh leader on. My reel(s) are then ready to fish up home. Sounds like a lot of work, but it sure beats the H out of spending $600 - $1500 for a true salt-water reel.
Question:	Is the drag system waterproof? Like if I am wading, and place my rod and reel into the water, will the drag system be affected
Answer:	Yes, it is. We recommed you use fully sealed fly reel(like piscifun crest or platte fly reel) if you often use it in the water. Hope it helps!

Question:	Where is this reel made
Answer:	Although I’m not 100% certain, 99.99% of me believes they are of Chinese origin. LOTS of people’s reels are manufactured in China. Really nice, really expensive, top of the line reels are manufactured in China. The fit and finish of the Katuysha reel I bought looks and feels like a $500 “boutique made in the USA” I own. The only reservation about it is, will it look and feel that way in 30 years, like an English made Hardy my father left me? Idk. I decided that for the half dozen times a year I use it to chase salmon here in Michigan I couldn’t go wrong price wise. So far, so good. Probably more answer than you bargained for, but sometimes things just aren’t as simple as we’d like.

Answer:	I don’t really know. I doubt it. If it were me I’d just buy a second reel. I’d always rather have another reel.

Answer:	Take off the spring that holds the ball bearing inside the spool, take out the ball bearing, take out the clutch and turn it upside down then put back back those parts.

Answer:	I would say not really on the Kenai. You dont really want a fly rod for the Kenai for Salmon. For the Kenai I prefer a good quality rod and reel with salmon eggs weighted off the bottom with 4 to 8 oz weights.

Question:	how do you change the Blaze 5/6 to a Left hand retrieve. where can I get the answer
Answer:	Take the spoil off inside the spool is a sleeve bearing. Don't take the disc stuff out, you should only be messing with the spool.Take that bearing out and flip it over and put it back in. Now it's a left hand reel.
