Answer:	The Gerber EAB Lite Pocket Knife 22-41830 is my EDC knife and I have it with Irwins because I get them for free from work. It works flawlessly and the way the knife is designed, the set screw not only goes through the slot on the blade but it also pinches it in place. Sorry but I'm going to have to say you have an operator error. That aside, the Lenox are a much higher quality blade that last much longer. I work construction and my blades take a ton of abuse. Lenox have always been my favorite

Answer:	For those too young to remember great grandpa shaving with a straight razor, let me give you a quick education. RAZOR sharp knife means it will not hold an edge. The sharper the edge, the quicker it will dull. That's why great grandpa had a razor strop that he honed his beard cutting steel with every time he used it. A fine razor edge on a fillet knife is important, as is the knowledge that you must hone (not sharpen) the edge regularly to maintain it.

I’m TERRIBLE at sharpening anything, but this thing (I got the Ken Onion edition) has made it easy, quick and best of all, a “good knife sharpener” out of me! Just start from the handle straight down and take your time or you will cut your hand open, I usually do about a dozen pulls before I clean fish. The tip seems to be harder to get as sharp as the rest of the blade???

Answer:	the wood handle does say Finland I also happen have a 4" soft grip still in package and it does say China,reguardless of where it was made at it is a great knife still have the original one i purchased a "7" model" 40++ years ago along and still have this 4" that is not quite as old 20+years would not go fishing with out them.
