| Answer: | The 2017 formula did not have Camphor, Menthol or Phenol listed in the ingredients but in 2014 they were present. The quantity of these ingredients, and others, have been altered several times since 2004. If the Camphor etc. are being used currently (2020) I don't know about it yet. IMO the older formula(s) are better. They've been tweaking the ingredients considerably over the past dozen years. The brand has also changed hands from one company to another. Take note of where Ammonium Hydroxide is in the ingredients. It used to be listed immediately behind fragrance. And speaking of fragrance the "original cleansing cream" (not) smells differently now. I'm not pleased with the changes but the product still works better than it's competitors' products, IMO. BTW, I've been using it for over 40 years and called the company to express my observations. The INGREDIENTS are listed on the Amazon post .... if this is correct (3/24/2020), the ingredients have changed AGAIN. In 2017 these were not listed.... Methylparaben, Camphor, Menthol, Propylparaben, Calcium Hydroxide, Eugenol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Linalool, Geraniol, Benzyl Benzoate, Limonene ....and others were in a different order (indicating different quantities). Ingredients: Water (Aqua, Eau), Stearic Acid, Linum Usitatissimum (Linseed) Seed Oil, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Gelatin, Fragrance (Parfum), Phenoxyethanol, Ammonium Hydroxide, Methylparaben, Camphor, Menthol, Dmdm Hydantoin, Propylparaben, Calcium Hydroxide, Eugenol, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil, Disodium Edta, Hexyl Cinnamal, Linalool, Geraniol, Benzyl Benzoate, Limonene, Sodium Bicarbonate, Calcium Chloride, Magnesium Sulfate, Potassium Chloride. |
