Answer:	We have over a dozen of these lights, several over 3 years old / in use. They work fine with either "Flat Top" or "nipple top" 18650 batteries. "Top to Bottom" fit is snug thanks to the spring loaded base. "Side to Side" fit may appear loose as the diameter of 18650 batteries is less that the AAA battery cartridge BUT they work fine and do not lose contact. TIP - you can get an inexpensive plastic "sleeve" that inserts in the body of the flashlight to enhance the fit of 18650 batteries - most Vape shops have them as the 18650 is a common battery for Vaping units.

Answer:	The charger is for charging the flashlight. Insert the battery from the flashlight in the charger, connect the cable to your computer charging port and connect the other end of the cable to the battery charger provided with your HausBell flashlight. Answer:	If you're asking how long the batteries will last if using the light often, I really can't say as I have yet to change them. I'm using the 3AAA batteries in them and both lights are shining brightly. I have others (not the Hausbell brand), as well, that use rechargeable batteries and a couple go dim quickly. But high lumen Hausbell I really like and would buy again. Good white light (don't like the yellow light from some). Hope this helps you.
